Episode III: PG or PG-13? [Merged]

As I learned a couple of minutes ago, from a TV documentary about Episode III the film will in Germany be rated 16! 😎
The rating before 16 is in Germany 12. But I would never have expect that...

Don't judge too fast. It's nothing confirmed... Possibly they made a mistake and mixed it with PG-13... I'm still thinking Episode III will be rated 12...

Yeah... When it's FSK 16 then people under 16 years aren't allowed to watch the film. When it's FSK 12 then kids under 12 must not watch the film. But at FSK 12 there's an exception. Kids from 6 to 11 can watch the movie when the parents are with them... And there's also FSK 6 for people which are at least 6 years old.

FSK 6 has TPM and ANH, I think. FSK 12 is in AOTC, TESB and ROTJ. By the way: Focus TV has conformed that they made a mistake. The ratingin Germany is not announced yet!

EP V was originally rated FSK 6 wayback, it´s been changed on DVD I don´t know why. And EP IV was rated FSK 12 and on DVD rated back to 6. Maybe a missunderstandig who knows...

When is Lucas going to reveal that Star Wars Episode III: Revenge Of The Sith is going to be PG - 13 we have seen about three new TV spots and still no rating...

Does anyone know the rating in Canada? Downfall, which is R in ths US, is 14a in canada. I'm wondering whether ROTS might be PG in canada, if that's the type of difference between the countries.

well, Episode III has been rated 'M' in Oz as I predicted, which means it almost certainly will be the same here in NZ...
