I was looking at the 1am episode tonight and it was the one with Psiren, the nurse who also was a thief, but she did it to save her town that was going to be under water in 5 years. I still don't see how it is "saving" the town. It's still going under either way.
When ed did alchemy under water and brought up that huge hand and picked up Psiren in her boat out of the water and then closed the fist in on her and then she closed her eyes as if accepting defeat and awaitng what was coming, I thought ed had killed her. I was angry for a few seconds at him until I saw that she did survive.
Interesting show. I still don't know whether to say if she's a good person or bad person. Reminds me of Catwoman.
They did this show in a smart way.
By the way. I know that these anime shows come over here long after they've been showed in japan, but are the english voice actors just starting when it comes over here or is that something that's already done way before it comes over here also?
B/c if the voice actors were just doing the voices for the first time when the anime shows first come over here instead of years earlier at least we would know that there's at least something about the show that's recent instead of just thinking that we're watching a show made and compeleted by people years ago. I would feel better knowing that the voice acting is being done when the anime is first released over here.

they say that since fiding out that the town was sinking everyone who can had left... psiren was distracting them from there doom and bringing life back to the town waiting to die..... people had actually came to town to see her....
"giving them one last shot at fame before the town dies out..." the line the guy used was something like that.....
She wasnt actually "physically" saving the town. It was more of an emotional level. The town was dead, all the people who werent rich enough to get out werent making any money because no one was there. I took it as a "catch 22". They cant get out because their poor. Their poor because everyone else left. So in a way Psiren was saving the town, but bringing people there to see her.
And Powerful, the voice acting is done by many companies. But Funimations version is rather new, they do all the episodes at once. So its not old in the least.
I'm going to try to learn the language... I aquired aload of inu-yasha with both english/jap voices and english jap text... theres a difference in the phrases people use and the way people say something... quite often interesting tid-bits are missed out... something like
"Hey lets get going to kill that vile person..."
becomes
"lets go..."
