Is President Bush a Genius or Idiot?

You should relax because, although you hate him, you cant get rid of him. So instead of worrying about it, just accept it. Its like alcoholism, instead of saying 'i dont have a problem' say 'i do have a problem' and thats the first half of your struggle over. Hell even the M()r0n BvsH accepted his problem, is it too hard for you to say 'ok, i dont like him, but hes my President for four more years, you know, i really should have voted instead of just sitting here, typing why i hate bush and blowing up my inflatable girlfriend'

Complaining about your leader does nothing now, America decided they wanted Bush so Bush is what you shall have. Live and love him.

I should relax? I typed one sentence that said basically I think he's less than average... just because you may feel otherwise doesn't mean you need to type me a paragraph telling me why I need to get over the fact that he's president. I don't deny he's president, doesn't mean I think he's good at it. If people expressing their opinions bothers you so much, don't read a thread based on politics.

You do know your post now applies to you also?
If my opinion or my way of handling your posts bothers you so much, dont read em 😱

It doesn't bother me... I think I've been pretty calm and polite about this.

The same here, but you didnt seem to like the idea of me challenging your opinion the way i did, and i would like to know what the problem with it was?

Well it's not you challenging my opinion... you didn't say anything about Bush being a good president you just told me to grin and bare it. That's not what America is about my friend..

What is America about? Enlighten me. Are they about 'moaning about a leader, re-electing him then complaining about it again' a sort of....whine and bear it?

If I could've voted I would've. I'm not gonna play the classic "freedom of speech" argument but if you seriously think people are going to just pretend not to mind Bush because he is our leader than you are mistaken. I'm not a fan of Bush, and I think people take it too far sometimes wishing he was dead and such, but I see nothing wrong with saying you think he's a bad president. All I ever heard from republicans is to just move on and accept it... we'll I am. I don't deny he's president.. I'm not starting a rebellion against him.. I just don't think he's doing a good job. If you really do disagree with that point I'd honestly like to hear the positive side of what Bush is doing. Because all I ever seem to hear from Bush supporters is how much Kerry sucks.

Because all I ever seem to hear from Bush supporters is how much Kerry sucks.

*Shrugs.* Bad luck for you, I suppose. My friends will do that but I just ignore it and move on. As I stated, I respect Senator Kerry...I just didn't want him to be president.

I don't even like Kerry.. and I didn't like him for that same reason. Instead of focusing on his positive points he focused on Bush's negative points, which leads me to believe he doesn't have any positive points to reveal. Even the debates seemed like the whole time they were just badmouthing each other. But he's history now, and it's time to focus on Bush again.

Idiot. He's like a member on this forum. *No names* That member ignores many intellectual posts, writes with language deficiency, and always considers her/his point the right one.

Thanks for that steller review of all us intellectual types:-)

Anyways, for my two cents that may or may not make sense to certain members....I usually reserve the title genius for scientific types who've make world altering advancements in the sciences. However, I support president Bush. Whatever people say, I believe he's a good man and a steady leader. World policies are a bit beyond the scope of my full comprehension, as I'm sure it is for most. I'm glad that I don't have the burdens that Pres Bush has, and I will continue to support him because he has earned the right to be called the President of the United States of America. As for his detractors, you are of course entitled to your opinions, but please, keep in mind a measure of respect for the office, if not the man.

Bush sure isn't a genius.......

He's he figurehead for some powerful lobbies with specific agenda- just like all politicians at the national level.......

BUSH IS AN IDIOT!

BUSH IS AN IDIOT !!! 😠

😂 Yes, he is. 😄

He is not to be "misunderestimated". I don't care for a good deal of the Presidents policies and I hope the Democrats in Congress sink all of his legislation.

aah they just voted for him because of the first lady.

"...keep in mind a measure of respect for the office, if not the man."

The problem is when the authority and image of the office is tarnished by the image and actions of the man. Personally I would grant Bush at least some IQ points if he at some stage demonstrated an better grasp of international relations.
