Look at it this way. White people have oppressed black people for around 500 years. Now, how long have black people been given true freedom? About 40 years ago. So they still have 460 years to be mad at white people.

Well I can't argue for my friends, at times I question my friendship with such close minds individuals but personally no. It goes for all other races who have been oppressed as well not only Blacks.

There exists a myriad of races my friend. I could have been Sioux, Mexican, Arab all among which have "issues" with Caucasians.
To immediately make the assumption that I am Black and none other is the observation I wanted to make.
Indians, Hispanics, Incas and so one and so forth have all been oppressed.

Personally there shouldn't be a reason because you as and individual did nothing but the race from which you belong has tarnished itself with these crimes against humanity committed to another race.
It's not hard to see how one could lash out at you despite the fact that you had nothing to do with it.

Well let me firstly apologize if I may have conveyed the impression that all white people should feel ashamed for who they are.
That was not my intention. My motive was to moreso bring to light how an entire race of people have been subjected to most methods of brutality Man can ever conceive of and have been stripped of their home.culture and sense of self all for what ultimately?
And as someone who has Black coarsing though his veins, I at times am vexed and highly upset to see how nothing has been done to punish those who were responsible for this. It's as if things have been forgotten and when you look at the atrocities done to Blacks in those days, how can anybody object to little things as affirmative action?
How can some Whites today, whisper among themselves "Blks got it made in this country" How???

firstly, im not american, and the status of black people is different in both our countries...
secondly, nobody will ever forget the atrocities that were commited, and rightly so, its a lesson we all can learn from...
yes there are obnoxious assholes who say black people have it made in any country... but saying they are still so badly oppressed is wrong too imo (talking about ireland again)...
