Ofcourse they should have the right. However I don't think the goverment WANTS chilldren to be adopted. They seem to do everything in thier power to make it as difficult as hell just to adopt a damn kid meanwhile there's billions that need homes. What can I say, our goverment is composed of assholes. Dear me. If this was a perfect world I would assume you are joking. But as it's not I fear you might actually be serious, and if that's the case, well, I almost feel sorry for you. If I am mistaken, well, just blame my cynical nature. As an aside there is no reason what so ever to believe that would happen. There is no relation between pedophilia and homosexuality, and it is wrong to base an argument on the belief that there is.

of course they should be allowed! what's the big deal? so what if they're gay, they're still people just like every other person on this planet! personally, i don't even think this should be an issue...people have no right to say who can or cannot adopt...if they're gay, it's their own business so stay out of it and mind your own!
i'm really sick of people assuming that if homosexuals were to adopt children of the same sex, they would molest them or something. obviously not! do straight parent always molest their children of the opposite sex? no....gay people are not attracted to everyone of the same sex! they're just like straight people...there are some people they are attracted to, and others they aren't...just because they see someone of the same sex, doesn't mean that they will instantly try to hook up with them!

I think any emotional trauma a child suffers early on in life for having gay parents is nothing compared to the trauma he or she would've suffered being shoved around fosters homes for 18 years.
And lets not forget that gay people get "stuck" with children who are sick, handicapped and have emotional problems. They dont care, they love these children with all their being.
