Is Brosnan too old for Bond?

Do anyone remember about the producers wanting a younger Bond. This was the main reason why Brosnan being dumped from Bond. Well, Brosnan still looked in fine form to me. I don't see him showing his age here and he hasn't lost his youthful look.

So perhaps there is some truth to the rumour Eon and MGM thought Brosnan was a bit too old looking to return as Bond?

I don't think it's a rumor, but a pure fact since Pierce made it clear he won't return...
that or it's a very good trick to get Bond back under attention

he's 51 now and I think that if they did rush to the next movie after DaD, he could have squeezed in one more, but then he would be too old though
