I don't like the fact the H2 remake is indeed Lockout. Don't get me wrong I loved that map in Halo 2. However Guardian was pretty much Lockout. With Lockout now being remade people will flop to Lockout like junkies and will pretty much doom Guardian. I would rather get a Midship remake since it is my 2nd fav. Halo 2 map and it is perfect for MLG.

I like Big Team Battle and that map is Sandtrap. Rat's Nest and Standoff were made to improve their Big Maps because frankly they only made like 3 Big Maps. And they will also make a new big map called Avalance, based on Sidewinder from Halo 1; though it ain't an exact remake.
Midship worked great for standard SMG Team Slayer, Slayer with BR and no radar, objective games like 1 Flag, Multi Flag, Neautral Bomb, Multi Bomb, Oddball, KOH, and even territories. So I pretty much miss it because it worked great on everything.
The only map that interests me is Ghost Town.

My opinion on Blackout is split. On one hand Lockout was Halo 2's most played game and for a reason. It played great with everything. My main beef is that Guardian plays very similar to Lockout, so I would have preferred Midship. In any case I am still going to play blackout, so yeah.

Why are they planning a remake of Marathon.
