Halo 3

disagreement is welcome.. but not on such a blunt level... instead of going "OMFG n00b how dare you ask for a 1 hit kill wep!.. LoLLercaKes!" and stafoo or whatever you can conjure... just saying "Nah thats too broken" gets the same message across..

same thing with artwork.. instead of "Whoa thats a crappy pen doodle".. you can at least offer some 'real' critique... such as "why is it crappy" instead of rebounding off of jobless teachers opinions..

in the end noone really cares if you're a pessimistic person.. but dont drag everyone down into the emo hole with you 😉

the alien weapons bullets travel far too slow to make them an effective choice... even in fighting games people will choose the fast damaging move over the ones that take too much effort to land... the difference being here is that halo is a patchable game over xbox live.. and fighting games never get patched.. (thus the many versions of street fighter)

I started out point out the flaws to the many many many n00bs who shouted Duel swords and rockets, Yet more and more screamed it... I couldn't stand the comments and more!, Its obiously flawed and only a n00b would ask for it....

Did I say It was crappy??? I actually said I didn't like Pen pics... I'm not pessimistic.. I'm just not going to give fake praise....

If someone is good and can aim well with the alien weps then they have the advantage over human weps...

Same with the fighting games... If you can parry well or counter you can pull the hard damaging moves... But that requires skill over slamming the quick hit button...

Upgradable guns... Could work... Cept that they would have to have negatives to go with them.. So that if you got one that upgraded the rate of fire, the damage went down.. That way no 1 person could have tooo much of an advantage over another! Think about multiplayer.. That is 1 of halo's 3 main criteria... you should not be able to be toooo powerful... Theres a reason why the overshield slowly drains away and invisablity doesn't last for ever.

I Listed my ideas a while back.. If someone wants to dump on them feel free.. But I would hope they could offer a reason as to why it would be a bad idea....

I personally think it's stupid, because people are going to want to cruise through the game using only dual rockets and dual swords whenever possible.

Tell me, why do you want such a thing in the first place?

Don't get me wrong. The idea sucks horribly, it would have absolutely no value in the game, and certainly only hinder the quality of what will be a great game.

But you really don't need to start pointing fingers and throwing insults at something you don't like. Not very mature. 😬

I Corrected the first several peeps that said What about duel swords/rockets... Yet more come... They don't even have a good idea of how to implement it!

Why don't they put spring platforms in the multiplayer like they do in Quake 4?

coz they have grav lifts

S 360 is right... Also... The game is ment to look like a "the future" not a sonic game... The designs have to seem like they "look right" you wouldn't see the aliens with (plasma guns/faster then light travel/high tech armor) using a really basic computer system (running dos..)
it wouldn't fit right...
