(OMG you guys, My step-sister wanted to read it, so i started to print it off!! I had to stop at like chapter 10 because I ran out of paper, it was like 90 pages and so i have to get more paper!! Hehehe heres some more!!)
." Harry put his hands together and clapped. He felt a strange feeling inside him, he didn't feel like he did anymore, he felt normal. "For Gryffindor, we have Harry Potter" All the houses except Slytherin of course clapped loudly and he felt himself go alittle bit red. "For Slytherin, we have Draco Malfoy." He was lucky to get one or two claps from the other houses but the Slytherins clapped none stop; where Dumbledor had to hush them down.
Harry looked over at Draco who had a cheeky smile on his face. He enjoyed the attension and he actually thought he deserved it. "For Hufflepuff, it was difficult. Teachers and students talked and discussed it and so we deicided in the end, that there will be no proper captain. But instead, Cedric's memory will the Captain. The fact is, that we thought that if Cedric was still alive now then he would of gotten the possition, so Cedric, Congradualtions." There was silence for a moment and then everyone unsterstood and showed their acceptence by clapping.
Harry wasn't sure what to do, he only wished that he was here to have the possion. Never the less he put his hands together to congradulate him, like everybody else. Once everyone stopped, Dumbledor continued.
"So good luck to those Captains and fgood luck these teams. The first gam will be played 3 and a half weeks from now, Slytherin vs Gryffindor. So make sure you get practicing."
Harry noticed that 3 weeks wasn't that far away and he better start practices and getting the new team together. He looked over at Ron who looks alittle bit nervous but mostly excited.
I wonder if he's over the whole 'people watching him' thing, he thought to himself.
On another note, I would like you all to put your hands together for a neew 6th year student, Hayden Knoll." Dumbledor waved his hand for the boy to stand up and from the Slytherin table a skinny boy stood up. Some how Harry didn't think he belonged there. He wasn't like the rest of them, he didn't look or act like a Slytherin.
Hayden was tall and very handsome. He had brownish hair, which was spiked blonde tips. He was very slim and Hermione couldn't even help her jaw dropping. Insteed of having a sly looking smile on his face like Slytherin's normall had, he had a nervous and very to 'himself' look to him.
He sat back down and someone patted him on his back, Draco.
"Looks like Craco made a mew friend. I bet you in a week he's going to be like all of the them!" Harry protested, and Ron nodded his head in total agreement.
"Our next order of business is the new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher!"
It seemed like this is what everyone had been waiting for, and most people sat up in their seats.
Harry sneeked a quick glance at Snape, who had seemed to of lost his smile, which buzard Harry.
"Would you please make a warm welcome to your new teacher....ME!!" He said, a huge warm smile on his face!
Nobody had reacted and all sat there in their seats!
Harry couldn't beleive what he had just heard. Words couldn't express how excited he was that Professor Snape wasn't going to be teaching them.
Everyone now relised who was their teacher and clapped and whistled in acceptence. Harry couldn't help but clap as much as he could. Ron and Hermione seemed to approve as well, and soon enough Dumbledor recieved a standing ovation from the Gryffindor, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaws.
"Couldn't of picked a better teacher myself!" Ron said, but no one could hardly even hear him over the noise.
Once everyone had finsihed clapping and had sat back down, Harry looked at Hermione. She actaually seemed pleased!
"So, Hermione, do you approve?" He asked, but was pretty sure he knew what she was think!
"Of course I do Harry! I think thats one of the bestest teachers that could ever teach us. I mean think about who we've had, at least this time we know that he doesn't have Lord Voldermort .... Ohh please Ronald would you stop acting like that, its a name for god sake!!! As I was saying doesn't have Lord Voldermort on the back of his head, isn't a complete nut case, isn't a warewolf - though Lupin was good, isn't an imposter for the real person and of course isn't Professor Umbridge the ...." Harry lost the last bit Hermione said, as Dumbledor started talking again, and Harry was sure that he didn't miss out on anything except Hermione using language, which she didn't use all the time!!
Hermiones really changed since I frist meet her, he thought. She use to be into homework and not breaking the rules and now, well she's still into doing homework; but it seems like she's breaking more and more rules as the years go on!!
( heres a bit more and im taking alittle break now)
"Thank you everyone. I thought I would let you know that there were a few people who offered for this job, but i thought that you should have a decent twacher for once. Though I may be only teaching for this year, I will try my best to teach you all I know, well most of it!! He continued, and got another appaulous of approval.
"For the final matters of tonight, I would like to announce a new class of some sot, that will be starting up." Hary quickly looked at Hermione who went red.
He had a feeling of what came next and he some how didn't want it broadcasting across the school, especially to the Slytherins.
"AS a small handful of you know, last year took flight to a small club, the DA. This was a group of students, from all years learning spells to defend themselves. Considering the circumstances witht eh Ministary last year, this was a secret but this year there is an open invitation to all of you. Infront of you, you should all have the details." He said, and infront of everyone in the Hall, including the teachers was a piece of parchement.
Harry noticed it had all the information about the meetings and all the new spells they were going to learn.
It also said that until everyone caught up the 2nd years of the DA will be helping out. Harry then got an idea, which got him quite excited.
What happens, if we run out of spells to learn/teach he thought. Maybe Dumbledor could come and teach us, Harry decieded to run the idea past Hermione after.
"If you are interested in joining then please put your name on the sheet in your Common Rooms, and further information will be out soon. This is not compolsery and yuo are not being forced to go, but I indeed do recomend it!!"
Thanks!! Just need to think of new ideas and things that are coming next etc!!
