Thats productive...

More productive than closing down a discussion for being to radical...
Maz can answer that one!

67.29% of the world population does not believe in Christianity. According to your belief, only 32.71% if the world population has the potential to go to heaven. 🙄

according to the bible itd be much less.... anyone got the actual number?

Bardock, I do not understand why YOU do not understand this:

One cannot get to heaven because one has led a good life. The only way to go heaven when one dies is to ask Christ for salvation.

I believe I have answered your questions on this several times and I am uncertain as to whether you do not comprehend or if you are yanking my chain to annoy me.

So Ghandi goes to hell while Stalin goes to heaven? What a stellar admittance policy. 🙄

By rights Stalin should have been an atheist, but I guess in the last moments he may have weakened and all. I have always wondered why, if the bible, is say, accurate, God likes dramatics so much. Why bother having a Judgment day and all that when with a click of metaphysical fingers it would be instantly done, people were where they were meant to be, the Earth gone and all that? Instead he is supposedly going to go through all this symbolic stuff, plagues, Horsemen, Beasts and second comings...

adam poe--just a quick question as to where you got those #'s (67.29% of the world does not belive in christianity), and if you wouldnt mind could you post the numbers for the %'s of the rest of the worlds pop. I find that really interesting b/c i thought the % would have been higher. I would also like to know what percentage of the world is agnostic or atheist. Dont worry about looking itup if it's to much trouble but i appreciated it if you can, Thanks!

The following statistics are from the November 30th, 2004 Central Intelligence Agency World Fact Book:

Christians 32.71%

Muslims 19.67%

Hindus 13.28%

Non-religious 12.43%

Other religions 13.05%

Buddhists 5.84%

Atheist 2.41%

Sikhs .38%

Jews .23%
But you forget a third of mankind dies during the battle of armagedion that will take place at Megiddo and nuclear weapons will be used.

wait the bible said that nuclear weapons will be used?

you can interpret john's prophecies as a nuclear war but there are also many points that would imply a nonviolent accept of the evil (that wouldnt actually be seen as evil)....

Oh I would accept evil with knowing it is evil too.

Thanks for the info Adam Poe, thats quite interesting. Two things though, does anyone know what a sikh is? and am i the only one that thought there would be more jews than that, I fig. Hindu would be the second largest b/c India is so densley populated, i didnt think muslim was so big, i knew it was big but not 2nd largest big.

Actually I knew that, I've spent many precious hours of my live in catholic.religion-class since I was like 6.
Jews are not a very big part anymore and the Muslims actually are the second biggest group. Catholics by the way are the biggest group in christiannity

Yeah, I fig. that Catholics were the biggest part, I myself am Roman Catholic, born and raised, with countless hours logged behind a sunday school desk myself, I even was lucky enough to go to Rome in 2000 for the Jubilee to see the Pope. I really didnt think that Islam was #2 tho' I would have put it at 3 or 4

Behind what two others,
I ve been in rome too and was raised Roman Catholic but didn't go there to visit the pope.

I think there will be a time at the end of the world where we will be judged and god will decided reather we go to heaven or hell or the other place that is just between.
What do you think about this?Any thing you want to state or ask go ahead!
See you around!JM 😕 😮

i think it will happen over time....not just in one day. I dont think the world will just blow up or something one day, the odds are pretty impossible. i think we will run outta food, water or freeze to death before it just ends.

currently we have enough food to feed EVERYONE on the planet. the only problem is politics.

Politics and capitalism. Eg. The two great evils, politicians and money.
