Hey I haven't seen the episode either... I just read up and look at the preview trailers on this japanese DQTV site... I've only seen eps 1-4 in full

And I have one thing to say...
WHAT IS WITH THE DOPPLEGANGER!!

In case your wondering it appears as thought Thegan has conjoured up some illusions for the trio to fight. Barda is fighting Prandine it seems (which I can get cause in the book technically he killed Barda's Mum... or atleast she was killed on his orders...)
Jasmine faces off with some block things.
And Lief... well, he's fighting an evil version of himself...

On another topic... I'm going to be brutally honest.
The DS Game Art versions of Lief, Jasmine and Barda...

To be honest... I prefer them over the anime... they look much better... and you'll all be happy to know... that Jasmine is not wearing pink in the DS. Rather her proper grayish rags. (Not that there is anything wrong with wearing rags considering if we look at it historically in that sort of society Jasmine would be looked at in shock for wearing such a short dress- FIGHT THE SYSTEM GIRL FIGHT THE SYSTEM!!)

OK. Now this is just my opinion but I thought Lief looked kinda cute. I wanted to hug him! And Jasmine looked pretty except her hair was brown instead of black but it looks nice that way anyway.

I think they did a much better art job on the DS game than they did on the anime. They totally improved all three characters...even Barda. Barda looked a little less....how can I say it...hmm....ugly?

I want the game! Where do you get it? SOMEONE TELL ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! sorry for the long post by the way!
