I quit the band when I went into my 10th grade year of highschool.

I miss playing my trumpet. cry

If my college had more of a band program, I might have considered starting back up, but the bad, if there is one (and I've asked around), is nonexistent.

Did you ever say what instrument you played?

We always knew that specific years the band went to Disney World in High School.

The first year of Band in Highschool (9th grade) we went to Florida, but to Miami, so we didn't get to go.

The 10th grade year we went to North or South Carolina to Myrtle Beach.

It so happens they went to Disney World the year after I graduated.

My sister didn't go b/c a friend of hers wasn't going. Which was stupid.

She actually copied off of me and just quit band the exact same year of her being in highschool that I did when I was in highschool.

Nobody liked the Parades though that went on for miles. We had 2 or 3 a year and the christmas one was horrible. I think 3-5 miles. 😱 One time I didnt even have my belt on and I had to march with falling pants the whole time. Talk about anxiety.

I have been playing the guitar for almost a year now. Just learned how to play babe I'm going to leave you by led Zeppelin. Also learning the Hard mario theme song that the cool chinaman with purple pants plays.

Does anyone know a good site to learn how to read music, I just go by sound and tabs kinda sucks not being able to read music.
