What instrument(s) have you/ or currently play(ed)?

Reading music is overrated. It takes away from ear playing which allows you to make your own unique arrangements. However, I guess because I can read it I don't see the advantages as much.

I played the piano from ages 6-13, then I forgot almost everything and taught myself everything again when I was 17 and became better in one year than 7 years of lessons ever did. I must spend 2 hours a day playing.

I play flute, piccolo, and acoustic guitar. I'm learning marimba and piano. My next goals are snare drum and bass.

i play some piano and a lot of guitars for over 20 years now..i tried myself on bass but i failed weep

clarinet, Guitar, Baritone Guitar, Russian/Romani Guitar (7-strings, open G tuning), Bass (4 and 6 string), some keyboards, oboe, bassoon, contrabassoon.

I play the Clarinet. 😉

Acoustic Guitar

guitar, clarinet (I'm surprised that so many of you does to) and singing. also play violin, drums and piano when I get the chance, but not seriously playing.

I can play Piano and Euphonium.... Own a Guitar but I have no urge to learn how to play it, it's such a cliche... I'm thinking about learning Drums though. Or possibly Bass.

I want to get an electric guitar and learn how to play it. Those of you who already do, is it horribly difficult? I think I might be able to learn because I know how to read music really well and can pick up on things pretty quickly.

I think that its only going to be as hard as you make it out to be. I'm learning acoustic guitar and I'm not having any issues. As long as you keep practicing it should all be fine.

Cello and guitar. Used to play the piano when I was little, but I quit in middle school.

I just got an electric guitar last night. I have to wait till christmas to use it though. I cant wait to try it out. 😉

I'm getting an acoustic guitar for Christmas, so I will song learn the guitar.

I'm just curious as to what instrument some of you started out on, and all the instruments you know how to play, and what you think your really best at?

I started out on the guitar, I play Piano / Keyboard.
