no it aint my facts it is history of the mythologies we have. By learning about them maybe you can challenge your faith, and challenge it you will sooner or later. I challanged my faith long ago and faith lost.
As sad to say, this is true. Christianity was a copy of the myths that came before it and adapted it to fit. The 3 wise man, the virgin birth, the water into wine, the Mt. of transfiguration, the riding on a donkey, the calming of the waters, the crucification, resurrection, the raising people from the dead...etc. It can be found in a book called "The Jesus Mysteries", by Timothy Freke and Peter Gandy. It didn't make my day either, finding this out.
Orsiris-Dionysus and Jesus are the same. He also is called the Son of God, Came to save the people from their sins, He and the Father are one. Though Jesus was a real person, He was probably the Gnostic Jesus.
The thing about looking for the truth about what the early church was doing is that YOU JUST MIGHT FIND OUT. And for some ignorance is bliss.
I think I'm gonna go cry now...
Besides I'm not saying that Jesus isn't real. I'm just saying that the scriptures have been messed with. I did a net search on "the Jesus mysteries" and found a lot more info.
One I found interesting is www.gnostic.org
I'll never challenge my faith.you have to to see if your faith is as strong as you want it to be, and somethimes this challenge aint of your doing. Circumstances of events surrounding you might lead to this challenge
sorry but yall aint right.sorry but we are.
As far as I can tell by my reading, the early church fathers, mostly Constantine, wanted to pull all sides together, to have one religion, so he had manipulated the scripture, kept some, through some out, and fitted it together to bring in the Jews. He thought he could get them to believe that Jesus was the messiah and come into the fold, but they didn't buy it.They were later persecuted because of it. To bring the pagans into it was easier, he based the scriptures on what they already knew, but changed the name to Jesus. The early Christians and pagans new about this, it was common knowledge, but had no choice, because it was a forced religion, and forced worship.
