I picture God, the god of the bible at least, as a giant spoiled child prone to tantrums, irrationality and bouts of prejudice, bigotry and racism.
Now, this might not be his/her/its fault. A being, any being, in complete isolation is at risk of loosing moral and social integrity. And nothing is more alone then God apparently. It would probably would have been good form him/her/it to have had parents to put it in line and say things like "you can't call gays an abomination if you claim to love all people. And you have to accept people will wonder if you claim to be all powerful and then let cancer and famine and natural kill billions of them in horrible ways while doing nothing but say "have faith, it all makes sense to me"."
Yes, because I picture God as little more then a human, changeable as any person, with a persons bias and fallibility. Of course, that would be if I believed the bible to be infallible.
On the other hand I like Ganesh and Buddha. There could be two divinities I could get on with.
