So, Ushgarak, any plans for prequel? It would be more interesting than Rebelion Era, at last for me.

In ROTS Sidious says: "Once again the Sith shall rule the galaxy!"
It implies that Sith ruled most of known galaxy during last Sith War, but Jedi sucessfully led a rebellion! Propably infighting among Sith allowed Jedi to win?

But the mythology on the Sith is so huge, the prequel game would focus on one small part of it.

But I am just curious how galaxy wide Sith Empire would look like... I bet that it would be in constant instabilty and full of Byzantine Politics...

Have you read any books featuring Drow? They remind me of Sith, and could be be a model for Sith society.

The Galactic Empire ruled by Palpatine/Sidious could be seen as A Sith Empire....😛

It's going to be pretty vicious within the Sith, for sure.

But the proposed game is set during one of their wars with the Republic, so the whole Galaxy is not theirs at that point.

Yes but there is a huge diffrence- Vader and Sidious were only Sith Lords, and ruled with iron fist for over 20 years.

On the other hand, the Sith Empire without rule of two would require very powerful Dark Lord to do not let it fall apart. There would propably be diffrent Houses/Clans, leader of each both trying to become the supreme Dark Lord and avoiding backstabbing by lesser members of his House.

And after Jedi seem defeated, that would be nothing to hold Sith together for a longer period of time. And Jedi could pull the thing Bane and his sucessors achieved later- stay in shadows, then lead a Rebellion when Sith are fighting each other.

Does it sound plausible?

Well, your idea that it would need a very powerful Sith Lord is in fact exactly reflected in the pitch for the game in the future-o-scope.

Hey, but no matter how powerful this Sith Lord is, there wil be always others trying to backstab him, or those arrogant enough to challenge him, right?!

Continuously. And veteran players might have noted an expected Darth missing from the pitch.

Good, it seems that current game doesn`t explore the theme of treachoreous nature of Darkside that much.

It can't. The current Dark Side game is about survival. The Dark Side normally doesn't survive because it kills itself. With the whole Galaxy against them as well, the Dark Side players cannot survive like that- they have to try and be different- and the Animosity system exists to show direct consequences of failure there.

That is why a Sith game will be very different- teamwork will become a hazier notion.

So, how many more Episodes are planned for current Darkside game?

A fair few, actually. Two in the next storyline, then probably an interlude of some forth, and one or two for the storyline after, and that's still not the end.

Oh, and concerning the Sith Lighting discussion in this thread(spoiler)-

-One used by Palpatine is much stronger than used by Dooku! So it seems it could be a skill!
