More credible, God or Bigfoot?

I don't remember reading that......just to satisfy my curiosity, book and verse please?

Ill get back to you on that, im not 100% positive but id say im around 92% positive.

- moot point as you are using a book written by men as your source......not a book written by a god. How would a man know about god? why should this man be taken seriously and not locked up in an insane asylum? how do you know these men weren't just practical jokers pulling your leg? I don't remember reading that......just to satisfy my curiosity, book and verse please?

I know that it was written by man, that is one of my critisms but it is what it is. If God communicates with man than man would know of God.

According to the Old Testament God used to speak directly to certain righteous people, believers. After the death of jesus though people must communicate through jesus.

so if a man told you Jesus stopped by his house to have a chat with him you wouldn't think he was crazy........you'd just take his word for it?

really.....I'm not trying to bash your beliefs or flame you.......I'm just trying to apply logic to what you are typing. It's all meant in good fun.....don't take offense.

you are using your source (the bible) to verify your source (the bible)...........If I wrote a book that stated God talks to me.......and only me.......would you not think me crazy? I mean......it says right in my book that God only talks to me.....so wouldn't you just take it as fact that he has given me new laws the world should adhere to........after all, I'm the only one God talks to so my book has to be right......it even says so in my book.

today those righteous people are found in asylums wearing strait jackets labeled lunatics

Come on now.

I wont take offense. If a person told me that Jesus stopped by his house, Id first think maybe he knew somebody named Jesus, then was joking and would probably continue to believe he was playing a joke. Eventually though I might assume him to be crazy. When people communicate through Jesus, it doesnt mean Jesus is a physical being.

Well if you wrote that God was giving you new laws, yes you would be crazy. People already know what they need to know.

clickclick........

do you honestly believe that if the apostles and Jesus showed up today and made the claims they did 2000 years ago that they wouldn't be labeled lunatics? Ofcourse they would........we'd see a bunch of shaggy wanderers and call them crazy bums. Why should our opinion of their claims be any different just because they were made a long time ago. We have a lot more knowledge now than we did 2000 years ago. If anything........shouldn't thier claims be taken more seriously today than they were then?

Well say all that never happend and it was happening today, yes I do believe people would follow. I believe that some would witness miracles and believe.

You have some sort of bias for people today but I do not. Additionally being more modern doesnt mean they know more about God either. Are you insinuating that people today understand God better?

they understand the bigger picture due to more info on stuff

Hmmm. Well, in my eyes, god is a matter of faith. One can't really be sure. However Bigfoot is scientifically possible, and could quite easily exist. It fits in quite easily with the theory of evolution, the whole missing link aspect (although in evolution links aren't really obvious, its a slow progression). The only problem is it existing in a time it shouldn't. Still, based upon scientifically supported evidence, logic and probability, I must admit it is perhaps easier to believe in "Bigfoot" then God...

bigfoot, one example of its spieces sits in the White House

😆 That it does. Horrifying to think we may have evolved from something like that. 😉

depends what you mean by "the big picture."

Well I can say I believe in bigfoot Im not sure about God

Re: More credible, God or Bigfoot?

I say BigFoot, cuz I've seen him walking down my street last week in a top hat and tails. 😄

Hehe... I just love George Carlin's view on Religion and what-knot.

http://vanallens.com/exchristian/gc_religion.mp3 This link is funny as hell, and he tells the truth. 😛

I would never want to be a member of a group whose symbol was a guy nailed to two pieces of wood. [George Carlin, from the album "A Place For My Stuff"]

When it comes to BULLSHIT...BIG-TIME, MAJOR LEAGUE BULLSHIT... you have to stand IN AWE, IN AWE of the all time champion of false promises and exaggerated claims, religion. [George Carlin, from "You Are All Diseased".]

Religion easily has the greatest bullshit story ever told. Think about it, religion has actually convinced people that there's an INVISIBLE MAN...LIVING IN THE SKY...who watches every thing you do, every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a list of ten special things that he does not want you to do. And if you do any of these ten things, he has a special place full of fire and smoke and burning and torture and anguish where he will send to live and suffer and burn and choke and scream and cry for ever and ever 'til the end of time...but he loves you. And he needs money! He's all powerful, but he can't handle money! [George Carlin, fromalbum "You Are All Diseased" (it can also be found in the book "Napalm and Silly Putty".]

I've begun worshipping the sun for a number of reasons. First of all, unlike some other gods I could mention, I can see the sun. It's there for me every day. And the things it brings me are quite apparent all the time: heat, light, food, a lovely day. There's no mystery, no one asks for money, I don't have to dress up, and there's no boring pageantry. And interestingly enough, I have found that the prayers I offer to the sun and the prayers I formerly offered to God are all answered at about the same 50-percent rate. [George Carlin, from "You Are All Diseased".]

God.
God created everything, whether those of you athiests believe it or not.
Bigfoot has done nothing to fascinate me.

Besides the Bible and the church, do you have any real proof of you're claim?

Do you have any proof that Big Foot is real? NO. All those footprints and snapshots could've been a damn guy in a suit, or someone looking for attention.
Whether I waste my time explaining to you why God is more credible or not it's just going to be hectic for all the athiests nagging back at me with their wrong insults and theories and comments.

the credibility of a god is as big as the fact that the moon is a big cheese

An opinion on whether or not something is credible is relative to the individual.

Bigfoot. At least I've seen some pictures of him (whether or not they're fake, it's still something, which is more then I can say about God).

The only thing to back up the existance of God is an old, boring book that contradicts itself numerous times.
