Haha, that's a great movie you can't take too seriously. Like Evil Dead. 😂

Exactly. Kurt Russell's voice always made me laugh in that movie.

Last watched Double Agent, and Public Enemy.

I just watched Slither, pretty funny.

The Proposition

American Beauty

👆 Good Miyazaki film.

Yeah, it's great. I didn't really like the whole hospital subplot, but Totoro and the Cat Bus were kick ass. I enjoyed Howl's Moving Castle a bit more.

One of the best family films.

Freaks and Geeks: Disc Two

Brighton Beach Memoirs. One of Neil Simon's best, IMO.

Entourage: Season 2

Saw. I watched it with some friends and it sucked even worse than the first time I watched it.

2001: A Space Odyssey
Elephant.

I really, disliked elephant. It just lacked realism, and the ending was awful. Camera work was awful. Honestly, how long do we spend following people? I wouldn't be surprised if there were only 20 cuts in the whole film.

If anything it was a little too realistic for it's own good, never giving a reason why the kid shot up the school. It could've used some surreality, that's for damn sure. I loved the long cuts, thought they were great. I have no problem with the ending, either.

Watched:
Le Cercle Rouge
Twentynine Palms
The Howling

Madea's Family Reunion. Not bad, but some of the acting was a little overdone, especially by the actresses. Tyler Perry was great as 3 different people.

Halloween

Well, I've abandoned the brick and mortar video store for the time, and gone to the devil. Yes, Netflix. Signed up Saturday, ordered on Sunday, said it would ship on Monday, arrived on Tuesday! Just so happens they opened a shipping facility in Minneapolis!

So I received:

Fiend Without a Face
House On the Edge of the Park
Cannibal Ferox

I've always been kinda skeptical about NetFlix, because I'd be worried about scratched/damaged dvds sent via mail. Is there a high rate for that, you think?
