Nice engine... is it an LT series? What's the BHP?

The bike is not his fault, obviously. If he talked everyone out of what they wanted him to do, he wouldn't have any business. But, the car confuses me. Why put so much effort into the engine and then do nothing with the rest of it...which is what really needs to be done?
Probably just going to race with it, so no real point in spending the money on the exterior, when he could spend all the cash on the engine and drive train, for speed purposes.
That or he wanted a "sleeper."

I also stuck a can of nitrous in the trunk, swaybars on the undercarriage, installed new brake calipers, new tires all around and gave him a new muffler. But I chose to show the new engine I gave him, because I'm most proud of it, and a spankin' new engine is a very aesthetic car part. Furthermore, an "engine" is a car part most laymen are familiar with.
If you're talking about the car's appearance, what's wrong with it? It's a beautiful ride, ey. I see nothing wrong with it, unless you don't like the color. He just needed a new engine after the vehicle endured 4 decades of street abuse.

So, basically, we've all learned David has no appreciation for the art of competative driving.
Or any knowledge of it.

That's not true. I know the guy who gets to the finish line first, wins. It's the driving in a circle for 3 hours that throws me off. So I get the point of drag racing. It's NASCAR that strikes me as pointless.

In his defense, I think a week of training is a bit generous...but I doubt he would end up in the top. Success depends on money. Money depends on sponsors. Money pays for an excellent crew and engineer. You are limited on the things you can do to you car. Nascar racing takes a lot of patience and physical tolerance. It can get quite hot in the car while racing. It does take excellent hand eye coordination...but I think a lot of the good Halo gamers have more than it takes in the H.E.C. department.
It is a combination of all of the above that makes a nascar driver successful. Actual Nascar driving skills are not as important as you would think. There is merit in what Rogue Jedi said. I think he was making fun of Nascar with his comment.

Figures you would aggree with immensely overestimating oneself.
Now, is any of that stuff you or RJ said based in facts or are sponsors and team owners still looking for immensely good drivers, cause those are just much better than your average Jedidude?
