Money pays for an excellent crew and engineer. You are limited on the things you can do to you car. Nascar racing takes a lot of patience and physical tolerance. It can get quite hot in the car while racing. It does take excellent hand eye coordination...but I think a lot of the good Halo gamers have more than it takes in the H.E.C. department.

It is a combination of all of the above that makes a nascar driver successful. Actual Nascar driving skills are not as important as you would think. There is merit in what Rogue Jedi said. I think he was making fun of Nascar with his comment.

So the fact that guys like Jeff Gordon, Dale Earnhardt (deceased), Ivan Stewart and Michael Schumacher have been racing and training their whole lives to be at the top of their game, is really just coincidence.

You should contact the top racing teams, tell them to look on Xbox live for their next grand champion, maybe you can score a nice finders fee.

Figures you would aggree with immensely overestimating oneself.

Now, is any of that stuff you or RJ said based in facts or are sponsors and team owners still looking for immensely good drivers, cause those are just much better than your average Jedidude?

No, I don't agree with his statement. If it was that easy, more people would be Nascar drivers. The racing itself is not the whole picture. If RJ has pretty damn good H.E.C. and Jeff lets him borrow his crew and car for one race after just a week of training, I don't think he would do that bad...assuming he develops average to above skills during his training and assuming he can put up with the shaking in the car, the heat, the G-Forces, etc.

I think that 6-8 hours a day of training for about 5 days should be enough training to become at least average. (You have com lingo, rules while driving, knowing the ins and outs of the car, and just plain ol' driving skills to learn during that week.)

Isn't there a TV show where "average joes" compete or practice with professionals from various sports? is Nascar one of them? If so, we could see RJs point proven or disproven.

Yeah, because I'm the one spouting nonsensical nonsense, yet again.

In that case of course, what a nonsensical thing to say, the problem we are facing is that he wouldn't develop an average skill of NASCAR drivers. Hard to prove either way I guess. Just odd how some people feel the need to make such ridiculous claims that just seem arrogant through and through.

His point was not that it is easy to make it in Nascar...but rather, Nascar is dull and boring and doesn't require much skill.

Robtard, if you were familiar with Nascar, you would know that the top Drivers also have the top cars. Not all of them. Skill can only get you so far in Nascar...please stfu.

Even if he is going to claim that now, I severely doubt that is in any way what he meant.

I was a little annoyed that a middle aged man still has that, but that's your cup of coffee, forgive me for mentioning it.

Read between the lines, shit for brains.....

exactly.....maybe I should have posted a smily or something, seeing as how Bardocks life is pretty much signing on here and bashing others.

Yeah, I'd feel bad now, if it wasn't for the fact that I know that you are the idiot in our exchanges.

you honestly didn't see the sarcasm in my initial post? do I need to explain it to you, lay it out like a deck of tarot cards?

And you just proved my point. Really, what do you here besides take shots at others?

Well, he did claim it. It only seemed logical that that is what me meant by it because he was replying to a post that was poking fun of Nascar. (Made by Devil King.) I could say "ZOMG liek you gais totally missed hiz point....u r id0ts!!! LOL LOL LOL!!!11!1one!!11!one"...but that is childish and lame.

Yeah, that would be kinda childish and lame. Well, granted though, I might have missed his point, though, still, I think he was just being an idiot and not making a valuable argument.

So, how is it that a group of people who agree that NASCAR is ridiculous can't simply agree? Now we're arguing about how we think it's ridiculous?

NASCAR = silly.

There, we all agree.

I agree, thank you.

The End.

I see you didnt ask me to elaborate on my initial point, but I will elaborate anyway.

Of course there is more to NASCAR driving than just going in a circle. You have to know when to attempt to pass, when to draft, when to risk a fender rub. You have to know exactly when to switch gears, all the while keeping an eye on your guages to avoid blowing your engine, not to mention taking care of your tires. See the sarcasm now?

Sure, you post your opinions, just like we all do. The difference is that you get off at thinking you are mentally superior to everyone here, probably due to some sort of personal insecurity.

Yeah. I wonder if dadudemon sees what you meant, too, now.

Nah, just you...and a few other people.
