I'm not ignoring them, you are merely misinterpretting the context of the quote. Each article states that cops CAN and DO wear their uniforms while on extra duty jobs.
Are you thick? I've already said I've see them myself. I substantiated your perspective, DUH! But they cannot do so under official allowance. And if they want to pretend they are on-the-job cops, they'd be arresting pople, rather than telling them to get a cab and go home.
Originally posted by Devil Kingand it is also clear as day that they CAN wear the uniform IF approved by the powers that be. it SAYS that, quite literally.

Right here:
http://www.lodi.gov/pnp/policies_and_procedures/OUTSIDE_EMPLOYMENT.htm
This part in particular:
SECTION 5: USE OF CITY PROPERTY AND EQUIPMENT
No City-owned, leased or rented equipment, automobiles, trucks, instruments, tools, supplies, machines or other item which is the property of the City shall be used by any City employee while said employee is engaged in any outside employment, activity or enterprise for compensation or otherwise for personal use. Exceptions to this rule may be made at the discretion of the Department Head.
Tells me that the officer MUST obtain PERMISSION to use any of his gear.

Deary me, Bardock...What has gotten into your tiny, little cranium? I didn't mean that you get a hooker, and then have a bum fest. I meant that you and all your buddies get a hooker, and then go to town on her. Taking turns. With her. Man and woman.
The years of gay jokes have destroyed all my heterosexual believes 🙁
I blame AC and his "I take anythingin the ass" attitude.

I agree. Lets get back about talking about how you are way, way, WAAAAAAAY to old to get IDed. The bouncer must have been ****ing with you...
Does this mean that it's impossible though? Just because we're all agreed that RJ looks waaaaay too old to be ID'd, doesn't mean it didn't happen.
My fella's dad got ID'd when we were over in Florida in November because he looked younger than 40. He was trying to buy a bottle of vodka for me and a crate of beer. Obviously he was flattered, if a little bemused. Apparently there's also an age restriction for buying mass amounts of alcohol, although why 40 was chosen I have no clue.
So by that theory, RJ could very well have been ID'd recently.
Edit: Unless I haven't read up properly and it wasn't for alcohol, in which case he's lying ermm
