the § is actually called the section mark, it's used to make subdivisions in footnotes (as well as make my "S" look fancy)...best way to make one is to hold alt, tap 2 and 1 on the number pad, and release alt...different combinations of numbers get you different symbols.

I'm not actually sure it's on the character map, now that I think about it 😖

As you will see I have found that curious symbol in my numbers-pad asci numbers. Didn't even know it was there. It must be one of the Word characters. Although I have word installed I never use it, I prefer the Works wordprocessor.

I did look right through the character-map choices including three sets of symbols and two sets of wingdings and I still couldn't find it.

Oh yes...and BTW... I thought that maybe the piccie you were going to show us was the one where the guy has the triffic six-pack.....So disappointed ! 😆
