The same could be said for "The Usual Suspects". They're both great films, along the same plot line, and just as enjoyable the second time as the first, IMO.

Yes, I bought High Tension and I still enjoy it just as much as I did the first time around.

So a friend of mine called me up seconds ago, he found the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Which copy you ask? The Rocky Horror Picture Show 25th Anniversary Edition. Which is OTP and goes for around one hundred and twenty dollars at Amazon. It was brand new! How much did I get it? Three dollars.....three....****ing three.

He picked it up at a thrift store and was thinking of me. Great human beings do still walk this earth.

Sweet score, my friend, but Amazon prices aren't to be considered when gauging a disc's monetary worth. That set is about $40 brand new on eBay, sometimes more. Amazon marketplace sellers price gauge like no tomorrow because of high seller fees, and competition from eBay. $3 for a new copy is unbeatable.

Found the ultra-rare "Panther" for $6 yesterday...and by Amazon prices, in a dream world, I could get $160 for it. 😆

last night, I bought Charlie and the Chocolate Factory special editiion, and the a BJ's plastic collection of: Contact, City of Angels, A Perfect Murder, and i can't remember the last one... how bad is that? hmmmm... time to stop buying large quantities of dvds at once! :-P

Down here I believe you can pick up the same edition for almost $15 everywhere. I've never actually seen The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Is it any good?

A theatre here plays it every summer for free, so it's a classic.
