Polk Audio RM6750 Black Six-piece 5.1 Channel Home Theater Speaker System - Introducing a complete home-theater audio solution for people who crave true cinema excitement without breaking the bank. The RM6750. The integrated Power Port Bass Vent designed right onto the back of the compact Satellite & Center Channel speakers-the same technology used in full-sized Polk Audio speakers-improves lower midrange response and all-important sub/sat blending, taking the RM6750 beyond the performance realm of any other sub/sat system in this price range. This integrated design reveals midrange with no hole in the frequencies between the sats and the sub, for male vocals that are rich and full-not thin and weak like other sub/sat systems. The RM6750 comes with its own subwoofer module, an 8 inch long throw driver and high current power amplifier for real ground-shaking bass thrills. The Subwoofer features an 8-inch Long-Throw Dynamic Balance Poly Composite Driver with built-in Subwoofer amp (50 Watts Continuous Power) Dimensions - Fronts/Surrounds - 6-1/2 H x 4-1/16 W x 5 D, 2 lbs / Center - 4-5/16 H x 11-3/16 W x 5-13/16 D, 5.25 lbs / Subwoofer - 15-7/8 H x 11 W x 13-1/2 D, 28 lbs
In a nutshell, at $400, this was a steal. MSRP of $600, $450 regularly at CC, $399 on sale. I've got my friend Jason coming over to calibrate it. He already did so with my new receiver and DVD player, but now that we're dealing with twice as much power (550 watts as opposed to the 300 from the HTIB RCA speakers I had), it's got to be done.
I've finally got something to show for my money, lol. Speaking of which, I'll have pics tomorrow.

How much is that TV going to be?
$1,400..and by the time I can afford it, I'm considering waiting for next years model to drop. I only need to save for 2 months, and it should be out by then. I'm actually pretty happy with my 32" Sanyo. My friend Jason calibrated it and it looks great for now.

I forgot Dazed and Confused came out! I'm gonna get it tomorrow.
Funny thing is, it's like how the 2 Disc "Munich" was at first, really low availability. Best Buy near me, at open, had ONE COPY of "Dazed and Confused". They never were very Criterion friendly, but one copy? Ridiculous. I took it, too.

Yeah, I'm waiting a while before blowing my money on an HDTV of my own. I want 1080p to be out and readily available. But it's so hard waiting.
