I take so much care of my DVD collection! Therefore the copies have bad quality...every dark scene you notice a fog (flea like) or light reflection around the images...something I never see in theatres. I bought Hellraiser III (new) for $9.99 with the same problem. They should start thinking of a better format or a completely different thing.
It is a kids movie so that's understandable. When my niece was little, we would be subtle about ejecting the DVD player so she wouldn't know how to do it.
And at the time, that was the only reason to hang onto the VHS technology, so she could do it herself.
But my sister's DVDs are all over the place and that makes me cringe when I go over there. Some are in their cases, some cases have multiple discs inside. Some discs are all over the place.
In conclusion, have kids or have DVDs.
