I've had an odd past 24 hours, lol. Indulge me if you will.
I went to Mystic Lake Casino in Shakopee last night at Midnight and blew through $140. No biggie, I'll make that up with 4 car parts I bought for $30. Got to bed about 7am, woke up at 11am.
Swung by Cash N Pawn, where I found another copy of the OOP "Munsters Go Home" for $5. They also had a bargain bin of $1 XBOX/PS2 games and some movies, so I bought $15 worth. No big deal, because I got $20 for my last "Munsters" DVD, covering the cost of the $15 game lot and the movie itself.
Took the 4 games and 11 DVD's to GameStop and doubled it into $28 store credit, and got "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" for a mere $6, "Willy Wonka" for $11, and "The Usual Suspects" for $10. Those 3 were technically free, considering I covered the entire CNP trip with one movie.
Went to Pawn America where I came across "Friday the 13th 4" and "NOES 4". $5 a pop, yoink and yoink. Took a trip to another CNP location near me, got "Final Destination 2" and "102 Dalmatians". Since I'll easily make $15-$20 off of "102", the Pawn America and last CNP trips were covered as well.
When all is said and done, once the 2 movies I purchsed to resell do sell, I got 6 movies virtually free of charge. I also recieved "A Bug's Life" and "Friday the 13th" in the mail. Purchased the 2 Disc "Bambi" also.
So, to recap.

That's more or less what I do for a living, just selling car accessories though. Go to a junkyard, get a bag of stuff for $50-$100, make $1,000 or more every week just about.
It's nice finding OOP and HTF DVD's, because I get them cheap, they sell for 4 times as much, then I use that to buy all these movies. That way, Alison can't complain that I am spending OUR money on my hobby.
I got it all worked out. ✅
I'm guessing around 350-400, depending on if I can kill my wishlist, whatever theatrical releases make it to DVD before the end of the year, and if I keep renting movies, end up loving them, and subsequently bying them.
I always told myself back that there weren't more than 200 movies that are worth owning, now I've basically eliminated the need to go to a video store. It's easy to do when you're only paying $3.50-$5.00 a movie, and finding OOP discs to sell and make money off of to support your hobby, ya know?
