out how to use this site I now realize that I goofed and thought that
that picture of Schwartzenegger in the 6th Day under your name was the trivia hint! 😆

****what's The Movie Title?*****

O.K. This should be an easy one. Storyline: It's about a bunch of thiefs who steal diamonds accross the United States. The mastermind of the whole thing travels in a regular bus (greyhound type) to monitor his men (because after every theft, they leave the area in the bus). The oil or gas tank is used to hide the loot at every stop. On the bus, there is also a retired cop travelling with his wife who seem to slowly discover what is going on. During a stop, he witnesses one of the man wipping what seems to be some dark grease from his hands in the washroom. During the trip, the mastermind gave the retires cop a book about solving mysteries and at the end of the movie, the retired cop gives it back to him while the police discover all the diamonds. The mastermind is watching from a distance and the retired cop starts laughing, doesn't try to arrest him but just put the book down in front of him. It's an american movie, probably made in the 70's. I don't have the name of any of the actors

***MOVIE TITLE*** This is a tough one

Hi everybody. Let's see if you can guess the title of this movie. I vaguely remember two scenes: The first one takes place on a dirt road. A bunch of teenagers are dragging one of their buddies behind their car while he's sort of surfing on a wooden board. A problem arises when the car makes a hard turn and the young man is whipped into a barb wire fence. The teenagers stop the car and try to help him get the barb wires off is body which is now full of blood and scratches. To get some help, they go to a house. This his where the second scene that I remember takes place. Up the stairs, there is a close door with a peephole in it. The peephole has little spikes around it as if what's behind the door must be dangerous. I also remember a stomping noise coming from behind the door, something like someone hitting the ground every 5 seconds. I think that there was someone in a chair or a wheelchair behind that door. The movie was probably made in the 70's and of course I don't have the name of a single actor that was in it. Do you think you can get the right title?

not sure

Heh - I can see how you might think that.

SO - anyone have any ideas?

Er, people?

old b&W movie

I want to know title of old b&w movie about a German soldier who returned home on leave? And falls in love in the ruins of city. The lady was I believe the daughter of a doctor. Also at the end he goes back to Russian front and is killed by a group he befriends.

I really liked movie.

Looking for an old scifi movie!

Ok, been a while since i've seen this movie so bear with me. It's been about 6 or seven years since i've seen it last. It had to be made either mid 80's to early 90's. But as far as I could remember it Had a character that had a Sock for a head, the sock puppet head talked and it had a regular body. I think there was a group of freaks with him in the movie and it was a rather funny movie. Sorry for being so vague. Possibly had a mad scientist in it that controlled the group, had them locked down or something. But i can't seem to forget this sock headed guy. I think he gets killed in the movie. Possibly aired on showtime or cinemax. Hope someone can piece together this puzzle!

This was most likely "Freaked" (1993), starring and co-directed by Alex Winter ("Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure"😉.

Could someone help me with a title?

Hi Everyone! I'm a newbie to the site...been looking around and like what I see! And I've already got a question for anyone that might be able to help...
I'm involved in a treasure hunt and have to find the answers to one hundred questions to receive a prize. This is the clue to question #16:

Power lines, swamp, practical jokes, radio control airplane, 2 homes, fire, expelled from school. Name the movie.

Does anyone have an idea what movie this could be?
I would so much appreciate any thoughts...

Thank you!

Jessica

Well, just a shot in the dark it might be Small Soldiers

Though practical jokes doesn't fit...

...like I said, it was a shot in the dark

Don't think that's the one, A.D. I don't remember any swamps in that movie.

Hey, thanks for your guess! I'll look into it...
Do you know of a site that I can go to where I can put a description of a movie in and it gives a list of possible titles?
I'm looking for the same thing for song titles, too.

Thanks!

Primitive...didn't Major Chip end up in a Swamp right before he found all the other Chip Hazards ???

That movie would be The Severed Arm. Made in 1973

What's the name of this movie?

I have been trying to find the name of a movie I saw on Starz or Lifetime...I think, within the last two years. A young woman meets an older woman at a resort in Israel. The older women gives her a beautiful pin (really one of a pair of earrings).
The young woman goes to Paris and meets a man on the train (I think). They fall in love (of course) but she runs away from him only to meet him later at her friends home...along with her fiance. It all gets very complicated. The young woman is called back to her home in the USA where her sick father recognizes the pin (earring) and shows her the other one of the pair. It turns out that the young woman's father met and loved the older woman many years before, but left her. The older woman of course, cannot be found because she died many years before.

The sound track included lots of old (WWII) songs including "The White Cliffs of Dover".

Sounds to me like 'Deja Vu'
Check the link below and see if i'm right.

Déja Vu

this is trivia related how?

People usually come to this section of the forums when they need help identifying movies. There really isn't anywhere else to ask such a question, the more movie knowledgable people post here, so what better place to ask?

Yeh, a question like this can be posted here or in movie discussion.
