Batman vs Superman

I doubt Mr. Wayne would ever be without kryptonite...I mean the ring could fit in his pocket right?

Batman's suit is leaded line and he would probably keep the ring in a lead contained box. So as you can see batman is extra protected from the ring radiation.

indeed dear chum...as we learn from the JL cartoon and Smallive as well kytonite is harmful to human as well.....but at a slower rate

I see what you all are saying and I agree that it's more than likely that Batman does have some form of kryptonite with him at all times. But is it a FACT? I mean, Bats might have a compartment on his utility belt with a yo-yo inside, but I can't prove that. Does anyone have solid evidence? (I'm not arguing that Bats doesn't always have kryptonite, or that I don't think he does. But it should be proven)

I wouldn't say it's a fact, but I would never put it passed him either. It's not really the fact that needs to absolutely be proven, just know that he's usually prepared for the worse, and that there is usually a chance most nights that he's packing that Kryptonite ring in a lead box in his belt. It's not a guaranteed thing, but you never know with Batman.

I remember reading Superman/Batman issue 3 or 4 when Future Superman can into the Cave where Batman and the regular Superman (weaken by Metallo eariler). FSupes got the drop on Batman saying "Bruce I knew you wouldn't have the ring on you because you feel safe in the cave". After that episode it's pretty safe to bet That Bruce would keep kryptonite on him...weather in Bat duds or not...considering Superman may become "misguided" and try to take him down some day.

Believe me, I wouldn't put it past him either. I just wanted to know if someone who knows Batman better than i do could prove that he always has it. But even if there's no proof, I bet there's a great chance he carries it around with him all the time. I just wanted to see if that debate could be settled.

he didn't know he'd need it in hush yet still had it... i think its safe to assume he would carry it constantly...

but even if he has it... i believe superman would take him...

hmmmmm....I don't know Batman has proven he can hold his own against Superman. Batman lacks powers and in a way that makes him strong...where as Superman is very dependant on his Super human a abilities. under unique circumstances Batman can and would win.

Yes, VERY unique circumstances.

Perhaps...but I gather you believe Bruce could pull it off huh?

Batman would pull out all the stops to beat Superman because after all, Batman's a cheating bastard.

Unless Batman is using something to level the playing field (ie. kryptonite), he's toast.

explain "cheating" Superman can lift mountain, see though everything but lead, fly at the speed of sound or whatever...so if Batman has to use green rocks or somthing to beat someone who is so powerful..how could it be considered "cheating" you think Batman gonna talk his way to victory? you think he gonna throw a g**d**n bataring and beat Supes. for Batman to take supes it's gonna take a ton of advantages..but Batman could do it.

You said it yourself.

Batman's not going to win by throwing a batarang at Supes. Batman's not going to talk his way to victory (actually he really could by taking advantage of Superman's good hearted nature). Without out any advantages, Batman doesn't walk away from this. Batman's going to need and use everything to his advantage (ie. kryptonite, taking advantage Superman's goody-goody nature, etc.) to beat him. Batman knows deep down that Superman is a good person. Bruce knows that deep down inside, he himself is not. See their encounter in Hush.

Besides, everyone knows that Batman plays dirty. It's what he's known for. That's what makes him come out on top. In fact, that's why I believe he can beat Captain America.

I'm not condemning Batman for his underhanded tactics. Hell, I admire him for it. However, with nothing up his sleeve, preptime, or kryptonite, he's not beating Superman.

Batman has to be sneaky...he's not exactly faster than a speeding bullet or stronger than a locomotive

Has batman ever fought superman any other way, with out an Ace in the hole. Because if he has I think we will like to see that issue.

Batman has to "cheat" it's the only way.

Yes, Batman has to either cheat or use his supreme intellect because although he's the most dangerous human being on the planet, he is after all........only human.

Superman is a powerful alien with some god-like abilities.

Batman needs something to level the playing field and to make their encounter not be so one sided.

Also, Batman's fighting style is more proactive than Superman's. Batman stays at least 2 steps ahead of his opponent, where as Superman's fighting style is more reactive. Superman deals with situations as they occur. Especially against an opponent like Superman, Batman has to strike first.

to be honest Superman fighting skills are maybe slightly above average....it's his powers he counts on. Superman is also used to holding back when he fights "normal people" ( read that somewhere) such as Batman...a fact that Bruce could use to his advantage.

superman is always holding back , no matter who he fights.
