I is indeed miraculaous in that this posts has reached six-pages already.
Batman fanatics always reason out him using superior intellect and trickery to defeat the man-O-steel. You guys act like Superman's some dumb, one-dimensional "strong guy", you must indeed have him confused with a certain marvel green guy, superman isn't so naive and has battle tactics/plans out the ass as well.
I admit DC wouldn't want to see one of their top players beaten so easily(Batman) but that still doesn't mean he stands a chance in hell, DC probably would "avoid" an all out brawl between these two just so they wouldn't have to make a six-part comic series of Batman's death, yeah I said it, Superman could "kill" bruce if given the proper opening.
Bane(guy who broke Batman's back) was a naive "tough guy" and yet despite all batman's gadgets and anti-tough guy spray still got his spine broken into a shape similiar to this..>.....so in a nutshell sometimes his intellect just isn't enough...
The only validity and fairness I seem to can find in this argument in fact is all pointed to Batman's advantage.One person says if they fight given batman has prep time, another says he is given a kryptonite thong from the start of the fight...utter and biased bull..What if (lets say for argument sake) a higher power just warps these two to a desert, no prep time, no well-thought out tactics, just the two with their god-given gifts, who will win?? I'll give you a hint...they wear red underpants and hits harder then the new york crime wave..
So you guys can go on ahead and "give" Batman all this "prep time and kryptonite" (and that alone "still" doesn't decide the winner).My argument in a nutshell eeyah(is) that writers would make this a classic battle just to please both fanbases BUT in a realistic and logical battle Superman's superior versatility would cream batman faster than Batman's logic and prep time would comprehend..Hell give ME Supes powers and I'd have fun beating the hell outta batman...

To date Batman has faced Superman 3 times that I know of. The two Dark Knight series and one other time in which he flooded Clark with red solar rays which sapped Superman's strength. The score is Batman 3, Superman 0.
If Batman ever faced Superman without being able to level the playing field, he would get creamed. But then again, the ability to quickly level the playing field is part of Batman's advantage: intellect.

No I do not think it is that, you see his line of thought is batman is human and as such he should not be able to tie his own shoe laces without asking for help. And also batman is the only human that has given superman a beating he would never forget.

But, to say that really takes away from batman's character and the type of fighter he is. Batman is a cheater through and through so using a kryptonite ring really isn't deviant from something he would presumably do in a fight, or has done for that matter. i really wouldn't be surprised if Batman DID carry a k ring in his utility belt all the time, but that aside, batman uses every conceivable thing he can to his advantage, (since he has no real powers that's what he has to resort to) and since batman isn't just some retard with a death wish cheating is a perfectly acceptable way to deal with the man of steel.

Sure Batman is extremely intelligent, superior strategist, etc..etc..But Superman is what his name states a "super-man", strong in every perspective..While Batman uses his intellect to defeat "gangsters gone insane" or "slightly mutated sociopaths" superman is battling guys on the level of the hulk, juggernaut, or to a lesser extent "The Thing"...
Superman is not your usual "Joker" or "Harvey Two-faced", he's a superior-raced alien..He has outwitted geniuses(Brainiac/Brainiac2000), beatin guys with the strength level of the Hulk(Doomsday), Dark Seid, and various other villains whom Batman would resort to "using Robin" to "help" him battle...
The only reason DC let Batman "ever" stick with Superman in a battle is to show their "runner-up" flagship character some respect.Whether you like it or not Superman is #1 in DC, whether it's battling the stronger foes or appearing on more covers Superman leads the head of the pack.Superman "leads" the JL, so while Superman's death becomes a monumental leap in comic history Batman gets his back broken by a guy whom Superman could beat three or four of..
