I know, an awful lot of thought went into creating the euro sign... 😛

I would have expected better from these Europeans. Have they no shame?

Adventureland. So good. 9/10

Both Kill Bill films- 7/10. Great fun...

That underrating the film! You must apologize or face glorious retribution!

Home: Knocked Up

Her Name is Sabine - amazing French documentary

Little man / Lille mand

This short film has such a great story to which most people can relate.
It's about a boy and his homework assignment, in which he is attempting to understand girls.

Please see the film (link in signature). I hope you'll enjoy it as much as i did!

Well, maybe 7.5. Not much more. There's not a huge amount of depth, though the films are really, really enjoyable...

Rofl, I actually agree with you. Though I think Part II does add some form of depth to the story by further developing Beatrix's relationship with Bill and adding the factor of the daughter. Besides, like Pulp Fiction, it's one of the few films where the style is brilliant enough to make up for the marginal substance.

I just saw Monsters vs. Aliens, to which I will give a 6/10. All in all, I guess I enjoyed it, but I felt that the characters, especially the monsters and the aliens, lacked genuine psychological depth and complexiety- instead, they were just funny stock characters. The humor occasionally worked when it was satiric and intelligent over dumb and loud (Lol it's a monster and it's funny hahahaha worked when that was revolutionary), but unfortunately, these times were rather scarce. The movie's 'parody' of conspiracy theories and paranoia was rather flat, too; it felt like a rip off of the far superior Men in Black, a rip off that fails to capture why that film was so brilliantly entertaining and witty. Similarly, the monsters were all too similar to the characters of Monster's, Inc, and although they capture these character's superficial humor, they simply failed to capture the heart that turned that movie into a really good one.

That being said, though, the film does have good points, which is why it is rather entertaining. The action is superbly done and the visuals are damn near stunning. The 3D work was highly polished and suceeded in not coming off as an unnecessary gimmick. All in all, I'd say that you should only watch it if you're bringing a kid along.

Shame... I thought that sounded/ looked pretty good. Hugh Laurie's in it, and he's generally great (though looks like he's playing much the same role as he did for 20 odd years in the UK pre-House)...

Hugh Laurie's character was actually one of (if the the) most entertaining characters to watch in the film. Of course, he's also a stock character (the mad scientist who is also kind and somewhat fatherly), but it was pretty entertainingly rendered, overall.

The voice acting was also good from Seth Rogen (he's in it, too). It certainly wasn't one of the negative parts of the film.

The Wrestler.

Great depiction of a life in world of pro-wrestling (80's and 90's).

Just an awesome film.

Last movie i watched was The Spirit...now i have never read the graphic novel or any of the comics...if there are any...but i found the over the top action and dialog a breath of fresh air...i am sick of comic book movies trying to be too real....i enjoyed it....not a great movie...but pretty good i.m.o

just saw fast and furious. gotta say, i was pleasantly suprised with it

Apocalypse Now Redux- 9/10. Mostly great, but somewhat too long, and the ending was very, very strange...
