Agreed. Part 2 was mediocre at best, the run time being shorten didn’t help.
I was surprise, since part 1 was so damn enjoyable. I don’t know where the magic from 1 disappeared too, but I do think a big part was because Arnold was absent.

Looking forward to Last Blood...
Yeah, I was surprised I didn't enjoy Part 2 as much I remembered. The editing and such didn't hold up as well. I also didn't find the "story" quite as compelling as I remembered. It's a pretty weak story and not well paced. I'm probably in the minority but I really like Rambo III. *shrug* I'm in the middle of rewatching it right now and fault it if you must, but the pacing and action is great. And yeah, Stallone did an awesome job directing Rambo 4. It's great.

True Romance (1993)
Finally got around to watching it. It's great. It's weird hearing Tarantino's writing with completely different direction, so his humorous dialogue doesn't have quite as much impact. But it's still highly great. I love how they just slowly mosey out of the hotel at the end, fleeing the huge crime scene, easy peasy.. haha. And that cast!! Loved the cast... too good.
Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.
Why does everyone hate Kingdom of the Crystal Skull so much, when you've got this turd? I mean, I know it's popular, and has a lot of memorable pop culture moments, but come on.. Objectively speaking, it's so bad. Just so, so bad.
You can't even figure out why they're doing half the things they do. I mean, why did Indy search blondie's room? He just got attacked, then randomly starts searching her room. For no reason.
I mean, yeah, switch the brain off and enjoy it was a thing then, but what's to enjoy? The monkey brains? The annoying Scrappy Doo kid saying stuff? The romantic comedy schlock? The awesome racism? (Ok, that's ONE good thing.)
