Rise of Skywalker - I could say I was disappointed, but my expectations were already too low to allow such a thing to happen.

I’ve never been in a rush to watch a SW movie since 1999, except for SOLO. I was not disappointed. 😉

Under the Skin
Rise of Skywalker

Under the Skin is definitely more of an atmospheric piece than a complete film. Lots of beautiful shots but 2nd viewing its still really out there

I saw it a few years ago. Yeah, it's a more artsy sci-fi film. But I liked it.

Star Wars episode 9, The Rise of Skywalker

BIG DADDY.

So weird seeing the Sprouse twins as little kids now, and Joey Lauren Adams before her face turned into a shrinky dink.

I watched the first 30 minutes or so of Hobbs & Shaw and could take it. It wasn't even a fun guilty pleasure. It's just lame bro action/comedy tripe. 👇

In theater saw Rise of Skywalker. Didn't like it very much, by far the worst movie of the sequel trilogy.

At home watched Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Great movie. Love it.

^^^Stars upon thars there are!

THE LONE RANGER 1981

Good grief that was bad, but, I wanted to see Christopher Lloyd’s pre Doc Brown villainy, and bask in the Merle Haggard ripping off Waylon Jennings as the movie’s narrator and theme song balladeer.

The Lighthouse (2019)

Honestly I couldn't stay awake for it, so I was dozing in and out of consciousness, but I saw some amusing parts. It's all performance and didn't seem like any story whatsoever.

Joker (2019)

Was actually very surprised with this. It approaches 'work of art' status.

Parasite

Great move 9/10

Easy Rider 9/10

I don’t usually give older movies too much thought, but this film Peter Fonda and Dennis Hopper is timeless. Two bikers go on a road trip after a drug score, and see bigots, hippies, and go on a journey. It’s light on plot but the scenes of the American country side are beautiful, and there’s tons of gorgeous shots of bygone vintage gas stationsc, the open road, the sparse desert, and the gutters of New Orleans. I loved this film

Bikram: Yogi, Guru, Predator:

I found this in my Netflix recs. An interesting story about a megalomaniacal yoga teacher behind the Hot yoga trendZ he’s a predator with cult like appeal to women, who charged them and then raped some. Without spoilers he’s an utter scumbag and it’s a sad but truthful tale

Small Crimes 9/10

No one ever truly escaped their past! Nikolaj Waldau plays an ex cop that has served a 6 year sentence, whose trying to piece his life back together. Only to be dragged back in by the crooked cop who is going to have the investigation reopened by a DA who Joe (Nick Waldau) wronged. It’s a brutal tale of past wrongs and how Joe in spite of his best intentions ruins everyone’s lives. No one makes it out of this movie without hurting someone. A true hidden gem

TRoS (theater)

Ironically with friends...

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014)

Commando (1985)

^^^that sounds like a movie versus thread match up! 😱
