Saw it long ago, but had to refresh my memory. It's an okay action/adventure film, but yeah, the script is a mess, too much info dump in the third act. So the sci-fi elements feel a little under developed.

I remember hearing the director even disliking the movie too, Sounds like had no control over the production of the film.

Gladiator (2000) last night in bed, for like the billionth time.

This movie is truly ageless and has one of cinema's best villains, Commodus. Easily in the top 10 greatest film villains. You just love to hate this guy.
