Imagine meeting your soulmate and finding out they think Mad Max: Fury Road is "pretty bad." smh

Not only is it not "pretty bad," but it's honestly one of the stand-out films of at least the last decade... probably much more.

A Jazzman's Blues 7/10

This could have been the next notebook but towards the end it became bad. A few minor scenes that had better potential. The ending was dumb.

My kids have watch it about a dozen times at least. So I've become pretty familiar with it. It is a pretty fun movie. Jim Carrey is entertaining.

Scream was better, cute girls notwithstanding. The killers motivation kind of throws you when you look back at his slayings and realize they made no sense.

Max just couldn't get a break, it's like he was made to be the Meg Griffin of the show.

I liked. George Miller makes it good.

Hocus Pocus (1993)

It was charming fun. Some 90s charm. I had never heard of it until just a year or so ago. I can see why it's sort of a classic.

I was ushering for Showcase Cinemas when it showed, liked the Hush end theme. Most Usher's would rather rock out to Mortal Kombat Annihilations end credits.

I dated an usher in the eighties back in NYC. She was a doll, though taking her out took some creativity considering she usually was way ahead of me on movies she’d seen.

Did she get free pass perks? Showcase gave us free shows on off hours, with one friend. Set up a deal with a Tommy K's video working friend for free rentals.

But I was working so many hours I ironically never wanted to go see a movie on my one day off and just lounge around at home.
