Last Movie You Saw? (Theater/Home)

I hope you right.

Tim Burton can be kind of hit or miss.

His recent "Wednesday" was pretty good, though, and I think it's some of the same writers, so hopefully it'll be good.

Dallas Buyers Club (2013)

Some impressive performances for sure. 7-8/10.

^^^Damn, I have never seen this movie! 🤨

Home: Reptile (2023)

Director: Grant Singer
Stars: Benicio Del Toro, Justin Timberlake, Eric Bogosian, Domenick Lombardozzi & Alicia Silverstone

Synopsis: Tom Nichols is a hardened New England detective, unflinching in his pursuit of a case where nothing is as it seems and it begins to dismantle the illusions in his own life.

Was decent, mostly because Del Toro is a fantastic actor.

Deliver Us (2023)

Religious-horror trash. But I liked it. Sorry not sorry. I hope there's a sequel.

The premise: When a nun in a remote convent claims immaculate conception, the Vatican sends a team of priests to investigate, concerned about an ancient prophecy that a woman will give birth to twin boys: one the Messiah, the other the Anti-Christ.

^^^Sounds like something I’d watch.

It plays kind of like an opening chapter in a dark Trilogy. So I hope they're able to do more with it.

^^^Sweet; I’m gonna try and catch this one over the weekend.

The Church (1989)

It's alright. I think overall I'd give it a 6/10. Not terrible and not great.

I've always wanted to see this. Is it any good

Vampire Kiss rewatch

6/10

Classic Cage. Very funny movie, not taken seriously

Lords of Salem
Megan

I wasn’t expecting Lords of Salem to be any good, whatsoever. But between the gradual mental breakdown of Sheri Moons character and the visuals, the movie really does Zombies trippy Occult shit Justice. The execution of the Witches is probably one of his strongest visuals in any of his films, and the psychedelic sequences don’t really deviate from his weird take on Rosemarys Baby. The ending was a little weird but I liked this film a lot. 7/10

M3gan

Great themes of AI raising a child and a psychotic consciousness running amok killing people. I wasn’t expecting to like this one either but the cinematography and some of the sequences, (How tf did they do that Forest running scene?!) kept me thoroughly engaged.

Infinity Pool 6/10
X 7-10

King Solomon Mines 5/10

Last movie featuring Patrick Swayze. It was entertaining made for TV movie. Okay but forgettable

^^^Its weird right?
I totally did not expect to like this movie but I did.

As for the the forest running scene?

I’m thinking a midget dressed as M3gan, on a whole lotta meth.

I said what I said.

So it's okay, not a great movie but not terrible either 😆

Road House. 4/10 rewatch

Forgettable.

THE RETIREMENT PLAN

Liked it!
Cage is good in every scene, and the rest of the cast does pretty well trying to keep up.
