^^^The music is done so well, I really don’t notice it, which is a compliment.
But yeah this movie’s a family favorite.

^^^Isnt there a Ray Stanz cameo in this?
I’ve heard the Casper movie was set in Ghostbusters universe.

Yes indeed. Dan Aykroyd does show up in character briefly.

Should have done more with it, though, because the movie is pretty lame.

^^^I'm a Casper fan and I remember being totally underwhelmed by the movie, which I immediately forgot the details of.

The Exorcist: Believer (2023)

It gets a big well-made Meh. It's a bit insulting to the previous films it's supposedly trying to pay homage to. 5-6/10.

You know not what you say.

The First Power staring Lou Diamond Phillips and Jeff Kober, many 80s movies.

It was good. 7.5/10 Ending was confusing.

Started watching Oculus (2013) the other night and was too bored and uninterested, so probably won't finish.

^^^You totally did.

Nightbreed 1# 10/10

I've seen the cover since I was younger and have never watched this movie before. My first impression was that it was entertaining and has a lot of elements that could carry it into a trilogy. Clive Barker really is a phenomenal visionary, I enjoyed this.

I would have loved to see more carnage and blood. I think some of the creatures were more human than the humans.

Self/Less (2015)

From director Tarsem Singh, whom I'm a fan of, so I've been meaning to sit and watch this for a long time. I rather enjoyed it. It's very scripty, a very by-the-numbers script, so perhaps a bit predictable, but that's not necessarily a bad thing to me. I found it quite enjoyable and well done, as his stuff generally is. Solid performances all around, even the little girl seemed very true to life. At least a solid 8/10.

Was this the directors cut?

Yes. I thought it had potential

Under Silver Lake. There are many movies with the same name, this one stars Andrew Garfield.

Under Silver Lake 10/10

This movie is brilliant. I've never seen anything like it. It reminds me of a few movies with the best parts put together. If you have OCD or are paranoid, this movie is for you. A mystery over a mystery over another mystery, brilliant.

^^^I remember/liked this movie.

This is literally the first time I’ve ever seen anyone mention it online.

I liked it. I like Tarsem Singh. Makes me want to go back and watch some of his other movies again, The Cell, Immortals... I wonder if Mirror Mirror is better than I remember.. 🤔

^^^He did Immortals?
I liked that that movie! It was like Gods of Egypt but, you know, entertaining.

STRAYS

Dumb but I wound up laughing.

Alienoid 2020 South KOREAN 9/10

2 timelines one story. Guardians of prisoners, human hosts that are used as a vessel to keep dormant aliens from destroying the universe. A kidnapped girl raised by two alien guardians. A love story. And super cool cgi.
