Last Movie You Saw? (Theater/Home)

Started by Khazra Reborn695 pages

I didn’t mind Venom 1 or 2 for what they were, but Last Dance sucked. They completely just shat away all of the build up of crossing over with Spider-Man.

The Substance (2024)

Pretty awesome. Should be seen. But first ask your doctor if THE SUBSTANCE is right for you. 😂

Venom: The Last Dance, The best out of 3 films

i liked it much more then the 2nd movie

if i had to rank the Venom movies

1- Venom: The Last Dance
2- Venom
3- Venom: Let There Be Carnage

Terrifier 3 (2024)

Can I just skip to the 3rd one? I couldn't get into the 2nd one?

The Factory 2/10

Dumb waste of bandwidth. Stupid movie don't bother

Ender's Game

8/10

Entertaining. The ending was retarded but a decent movie

Sure can

there was also a mid-credits scene at the end of the 2nd movie, Where they were trying to tie it into the MCU. That idea just gets thrown out with the 3rd movie

THE KILLER’S GAME

Fun popcorn movie. Sofia Boutella=hot.

Nice. 👆

Incendies (2010)

It's a very good film. I'm not sure why the twins don't look very middle-eastern, though. So, plot hole? I dunno.. I was a little confused by the family relation f#ckery, but anyway, it's a very good film.

Suicide Squad (2016)

I rewatched most of it. It's still a big f#cking mess trying to do way too much, but Killer Croc is (unintentionally?) funny, and it made me horny for Harley Quinn pron, so at least there's that. It's kind of nice to look at (especially with Margot Robbie's ass hanging out the whole time). James Gunn's is so superior in every way, though.

Heretic (2024)

It's quite good, but I do kind of wish they had found a way to go in a bit of a different direction for the 3rd act, but it is what it is and it's pretty entertaining. It's kind of an "Intro to Religion" course, heh.

^ I don't know why it says it comes out on Nov 28th. It came out yesterday, on the 8th for my birthday.

The Lost City of Z

I went to see this tonight and thought it was excellent most of the way through apart from a few tonal shifts that were a bit distracting but yeah, the final act and the ending were pretty terrible and a let down.

Yeah, the first half was so good it deserved better than devolving into

Spoiler:
just another generic horror movie.

Under Paris (2024)

Very silly, but entertaining shark movie.

My son liked it. Then I felt obligated to do him right and show him...

Jaws (1975)

...for the first time. It was really fun watching it with him! I appreciated it more seeing it through his eyes. 😄

One of the first movies I watched in 4K to compare before/after on my new OLED tv. It's ****ing amazing. I did the Extended version.

Also did eye-candy films like Pacific Rim and Ghost in The Shell. The color detail is out of this world.

Gladiator is actually quite a nice looking 4k. I rewatched the Theatrical version lately, too, and just from memory I only really noticed one small difference, so I don't even know where the 15 min difference is. The thing I noticed was the guy peeing himself before the first battle. He's cut out of the theatrical version, it just shows someone peeing himself. But the Extended Version has a little scene with him beforehand explaining that he knows 7 languages and such.

Dude, I'm jealous. Yeah, Pacific Rim is a nice looking 4k, too. I don't have Ghost in the Shell, but I should get it. It looked pretty fantastic, definitely eye-candy.

GLADIIATOR (2024)

F#ck yeah!
