F#ck yeah!

^Same for me.

But I was more F**k meh...

Plane (2023)

Anyone watched blue eyed samurai on Netflix?

Glass Onion (2022)

Pretty fun. I didn't remember the first one very well, but I don't think it matters much. Daniel Craig is very entertaining in this. Also fun seeing Edward Norton. I was a little late to the party on this.

Enola Holmes (2020)

I didn't particularly care for it. Plot wasn't very interesting, so it dragged big time to me. My wife liked it, though, so she watched the 2nd one while I opted to fall asleep instead.. lol.

And i got sick the past few days and watched several more movies, all of which were really good...

Oddity (2024)

Excellent little horror/mystery...

One Life (2023)

Well if you want to cry for like an hour and a half here you go. A true story apparently. Man, f#cking f#ck f#cking Nazis...

Basic Instinct (1992)

I had never actually seen it until now. Been meaning to. Very good. Movies with "twists" like that tend to be kind of annoying sometimes, but this still has a lot of Paul Verhoeven charm that makes up for it.

R.I.P.D. 2: Rise of the Damned (2022)

You know, I honestly was entertained by it. It's a better little script than many big-budget Marvel or DC crapfests. And Richard Brake as the villain? Hell yeah.

The Meg (2018)

Re-watched this with my son and it was worse than I remembered. I did enjoy watching the Elon Musk-like fu#k-face get killed. I laughed at that part the first time I saw it, but it's even better now.

The Medusas Touch. 10/10

This has Richard Burton. Such a great movie--i don't think it could be remade. Such a great fresh movie. Has everything in it, suspense, drama, history, romance, thriller, mystery, SciFi, fantasy, history. I'm surprised this movie isn't well known.

Wicked (2024)

Enjoyed it more than I thought I would. The two main leads were good, but others annoyed me.

I would probably rather have my colon invaded by rabid wolverines than be forced to sit and watch that.

Although I'm sure it's pretty to look at. And Jeff Goldblum is in it, right? The only saving grace.

So a regular Tuesday for you?

Visually it was good, lots of shine and colors and some of the music and dancing was well done, others were shit. Goldblum is in it, but I didn't find the role to be anything special for him.

This is also only part one, will be watching the second part. I just went because my wife really wanted to see it and she's seen enough of my films without complaint.

Good to know. I will almost certainly avoid. Fortunately my wife doesn't have any interest in it. I think she's not a big fan of musicals, thank the Lard.

I do need to show my kids The Wizard of Oz, though. I've been meaning to do that. Then I could finally see Return to Oz and rewatch Oz the Great and Powerful.

Yes.

Conclave (2024)

Probably the best film of the year.

Anyone check out Creature Commandos? It’s technically the first entry in the new DC movie-verse, but it seems to be a continuation of Gunn’s Suicide Squad.

I'm looking forward to it, but want more episodes released before I get into it. I think there's just two so far with one more each week, and a total of 7 episodes. Something like that.

Bad Times At the El Royale (2018)

Re-watch. Wanted to watch it again because this is the director who has apparently volunteered to pick up the mantle for The Matrix. Overall I think it's a pretty solid little film, so I hope he can do The Matrix right. *nervous smile*

Snowpiercer (2013)

Re-watch. I just popped it in on a whim because I've sort of been meaning to watch it again. I still like it. A good little film. The director became famous for Parasite, the best picture winner. He's a solid director. This is probably an underrated little gem.

Love, Rosie 2014 3/10

Romantic Love movie. Bad, barf, dumb. It's about the choices we make and the missed opportunities in life. Just barf worthy

Heretic (2024)

It's quite good, but I do kind of wish they had found a way to go in a bit of a different direction for the 3rd act, but it is what it is and it's pretty entertaining. It's kind of an "Intro to Religion" course, heh.

^ I don't know why it says it comes out on Nov 28th. It came out yesterday, on the 8th for my birthday.

I thought it had a great first act, very solid second, but faltered in the third. Still an overall good horror flick.

Hugh Grant was overall great as a creepy motherfcker.

Yeah, I 'gree.

It probably wasn't possible for the 3rd act to satisfyingly deliver on the first 2 acts.
