Gallagher, despite his injuries, still tries to move gracefully as he drives his lightsaber through a MkII.

Can I evade 4 Damage please?

(Is it possible to defnesively leap to Delfedd, if I am attacked? Looks like the Death-Checkers are the ones going to Delfedd's aid 😛)

(I took the most combat-oriented characters we have left except for myself cause someone has to stay behind to finish up those droids. with my spin power I'm pretty decent at that. Besides everyone is at +30 wounds except for me)

Ok, Xeth is trying a VERY tricky Charge... +1 on his acrobarics roll is a 15, down to a 13 from damage, aback up to a 15 from his acrobatic skill... that is a pass, dead on! He destroys the Mark II, and then +1 on his attack roll downs thd droideka!

Lorn- no, defensive leaps must be away from foes.

+2 from Jelena nails that turret.

And Gallagher downs another Mark II. I am assuming Roan attacks one also, for a kill.

Bit of frame wastage going on here, folks! People who could have acted more than once are not doing so and losing frames. I'll have Jelena drop a droid., and also Lurik one.

+6 from a Mark II hits Lurik, for seven damage and a death check. Lurik rolls -2; not good enough. He goes down.

And then a +8 is a hit on Lorn. That's too much for him now- he falls also.

The droidekas pour fire at Delfedd and Xeth. A +5 hits Delfedd for 15 damage. Luckily, he rolls +4 on his death check, because that was very close to an outright kill. He is most definitely down.

Xeth is in luck- they miss.

-3 from the AAT is a miss also.

New sequence... with a weary crew.

The Padawans no longer have safe ground to hide- your diminished numbers make them all vulnerable.

The droids to the rear have reached the plateau- the first of hundreds more.

Delfedd gasps from shock and drops, his Lightsaber deactivating as he falls.

(How do i heal? Is it resting only?)

"Roan Head up there to help Xeth out. Jelena get more of those turrets"
*Spin+Cleave, defend for defence evade if hit*
"I'll try and come and help you out as soon as I can Xeth"

MAKE ALL FRAMES COUNT PEOPLE

"Must protect the........others." Whispers Lorn as he falls flat to the ground, his lightsabers glow disipating as it lefts his grasp.

"Delfedd!" Xeth cries out as his friend is flung past him by the force of the blast. "Master Marcus, send some help my way!"

Xeth will activate Sidestep (lot of good that will do!) and Flying Charge two droidekas. Defensive Leap for defense.

(Ush, do Lurik, Lorn, or Delfedd need stabilizing?)

Gallagher winces as his sensitive powers feel the pain coming from his injured comrades. Eyes still closed, he activates Sidestep.

Defend with Defend from MkIIs, active dodge droidekas and turrets.

Just to clarify what failing a death check means:

1. If you fail, you are dropped and out the fight. At a conceptual, rules-based level, you can no longer usefully contribute to the game. I tend to let people keep talking for RP purposes, but you cannot move, or check, or look at anything useful in any way by any means.

2. Fail the roll by too much and you are dying- by a great deal, you are dead. Delfedd could have been dead but rolled very well and is at no risk. Vlad rolled badly and was dying- Roan needed to stbailise him, frames he could ill afford.

3. After a fight you can keep on playing, unless you died. Stablised dying characters will be on stretchers at best. Characters who only just failed their detah chceck will be weak and limping but can get from A to B. Unless there is a heal point approaching, you keep your damage (and hence cannot fight), though medicine rolls may be made to improve your condition.

Don't worry though- story is ending not long after this fight. No-one has either been left dying without aid or is dead (yet) so as it stands everyone will be back.

Assuming you win.

Ok, Fire is going for the big swing again! And he's done it! Four kills, final roll is a +2, a 17, goes down to a 12, but still beats the amount to kill the battle droid by enough for a cleave! Five cleared out!

Xeht goes for his big chrge, He makes a good landing- but double impaired, that's a difficult attack! +2 is a good attack, but that goes down to evens due to impairment, and then down to -2 due to two targets of a Flying charge... but wait, Xeth'second level in Agile Combatant makes that only -1 from Flying charge, and that is a 13 and a hit! The second roll is a +2 as well- two direct hits!

I assume Jelena Sidestep/Wards up as ever.

Ok, bad guys fire. Total miss from the few remaining battle droids. THe five droidekas blast at Xeth.

Xeth's holding! They've all missed!

The turrets fare little better!

However, the tank has gotten in a blast again, aimed at the 3/4 area. It has scored a near miss, which is half damage to everyone who does not dive out the way; seeing as your sitruation is critical, I am making everyone dive. On the bright side, it blows away two droids as well.

The AAT is loading the torpedo launcher again.

"Get the tank" whispers Delfedd to anyone can hear him

"Xeth, Roan keep an eye on that tank. Jelena get those turrets"

*same routine as before spin, defend and if necessairy evade*

"Gallagher!" Xeth shouts, notifying him to deflect the missile with his powers.

As soon as Xeth lands from splicing open a section of two sets of droideka armor, he springs into the air again, aiming to finish off those two with another Flying Charge.

Defensive Leap again. If I go down, it is definitely not going to be a near fail...

"Right," Gallagher says, opening his eyes.

Could Gallagher Bash or Combat Push a Heavy Turret in order to at least damage it? Then, Gallagher wants to Reaction - Push/Pull the incoming missile. Defend for defense.

Jelena will Saber Throw at another turret, while marveling at Marcus' swordsmanship.
