(tpt I think she gets it she just ment one renegade 😛)

You probably don't have THAT much time, Lorn...

"Great warriors?" says Besh. "That almost sounds like a tone of admiration. Master Yoda may have sharp words to say on such things, but Jedi Lore is repleat with the heroic deeds of mighty Jedi who fought in the name of Justice and the safety of the Republic. If you are open to the Will of the Force, then your good intentions will not be subverted, whether those intentions be thoughtful or martial.

"If there is a problem with these people, then, it is not that they portray themselves as warrior more than scholar, but that they might listen to their own voices before the greater Will of the Force. But it is easy for us to judge, harder to know. They may be trying their best to follow the Force in their own ways. Many a Jedi's path is twisted; the way of the Force is not an easy one to follow. People stray, are tested, may fail, then pick themselves up again. Not one member of the Council can claim a truly smooth career. The Council has faith that the Force will not lead these people too far astray. And dare I say it, if you are worried that some may go too far from the Path... then I am sure the Council is very glad to have people like you on the mission to provide some sort of Balance. Maybe you should think on that, Jelena. Maybe there is a greater part for you in this endeavour than you believe.

"As for Zeiton... that was a test for everyone, those who follow the Code and those who do not alike. I think it would be disingenuous to single out any one person there.

"Jelena... though Master Gundark herself may be unwell at this point, these Jedi are all following a path, one that she thinks she has been following since she first had visions of Avalar over two years ago. In all that time, Gundark has been worried that too much of her effort has been action, and not enough pause for thought... and that is a strong comment, coming from a friend of Qui-Gon's, who was hardly one for hesitation. She followed his ways, but even she thought her team too quick to speak and act. And now she herself is unable to help in the way she likes. She would be very happy to know someone like you is on the team."

"Now Marcus..." says Windu. "You know and I know that this Conspiracy most likely goes further than Ryamore. Our Instincts tell us that the Sith are in some way involved with the Union, in the same way they were involved with the Federation, though we do not know yet whether it is the organisations as a whole, or just individuals, like the Viceroy or Ryamore, if indeed it is him. But the Chancellor has to work within political constraints- and we must be content with one victory at a time. In a perfect Galaxy, we could bring down all wrong-doers with one stroke, but we have always known that this will never be the case.

"I know it seems unsatisfactory to you that we can only investigate so much. But perhaps you should look at it from another perspective. The Chancellor was correct to compare the situation to that of the Viceroy; caught red-handed, we have still only gotten as far as actually idicting him on charges. This COULD be different. This is our first chance to truly strike at any of these people that have been the background cause of this trouble over these last two years. You must focus, Marcus- if we do this right, we can bring down Ryamore, and that will be a warning to all others like him, and a victory to build on. Patience, Marcus... the others will follow. But today, we seek but one victory in a larger campaign."

-

"Good news," says Gralus. "And the parameters of the mission?"

"I agree Master Windu, thank you for this confidence you and the council have placed in me. I just fear that without Master Gundark at my side I will not be able to fulfill this mission successfully. We were a good duo, I was always a bit more for the martial approach I think. I do not know if I have her subtlety to detect the things she used to notice."

"Then perhaps the Force is considering this as a test of your abilities, Marcus. Now... Master Mundi is organising the contact with the Union. You should go see him in the Temple."

"Yes Master, but first I have a small other matter to attend to which won't take long. Goodbye Master. May The Force Be With You"
*bows and walks away*

No sooner had Lorn stepped onto the ship, he received a message on his wrist communicator summoning back inside the confines of the Temple.

"Maybe another time?" Said Lorn to his ace ally Rimmer.
"Yeah I guess."

The ship blasted off into the stratosphere and out into the space, leaving Lorn stranded once again on how to fill in his time.

I highly recommend you try and interact with other players rather than go solo.

Vlad sees Marcus walk away. Vlad waits for Master Windu to call him up.

Vilpa meets you at the Temple entrance, Marcus. He is healing well.

"What has transpired, Master?" he asks.

-

"Now Vlad..." says Windu. "How do you think things have been going?"

Vlad felt like saying "Like Crap" But he didnt, because he was standing next to one of the most powerfull Jedi. "Well... Master Windu, things have'nt been going very well, Balek almost killed Marcus, We didnt find that many clues, I messed up on that mission... But atleast we have that photograph..." answered Vlad.

When I get outside the room I walk up to Delfedd and take him to a quiet corner.
"Look Delfedd, I know you have somewhat of a problem with authority. However if you are going to work into a team which is lead by me. You WILL be respectful towards those who have earned it!!
There was no reason for you to make some kind of PATHETIC point about how the chancellor came to power!!! It's fairly simple my boy when those people talk, YOU WILL answer POLITE AND FRIENDLY and you will not try to make ANY KIND OF A POINT!!!" *steps closer to Delfedd* "Personally I don't give a gundarks toenail whether or not you like authority. But when you get called in a room along with me, YOU WILL NOT TAKE THAT TONE. For it does not only affect you but it also affects me, and even worse the rest of the TEAM!!!" *small pause takes a big sigh* "In the future I will never again tolerate that kind of behaviour. When Clarion or I ask you to do something YOU WILL DO IT. you understand?"

"You also made quite a fool of yourself in front of very important council members. You might care much for them and their opinion but you should. Because they are about the only way for you to get a head in your training. Don't make the same mistake again!!!"

"As I was just explaining to Marcus,. it was not a fair mission. But still... how do you think things may have been improved?"

"Well Vilpa basicly me and master windu talked about our encounter with Balek. He made sure I kept focused on my original mission besides this one. Finding Balek and bringing him to justice, if not peacefully then forceful. He also told me that finding Balek would lead us directly to the employers of Carlan, namely the Sith. But we must keep our focus at the matter at hand the interogation of Carlan." "You are healing suprisingly well Vilpa. I promis you next time we meet Balek he will NOT escape."

"Well, the idea was raised up by Master Marcus, one of my companions during the year that I dropped from service," Xeth says.

"We are to visit Carlan Ryamore himself. The murder fo the Viceroy's cousin was part of the general background of politics that Ryamore may have been material witness to. We are visiting him as a witness to those events as a legal pretext to turn up on the Union's front doorstep...and see if anything turns up."

"Those are nearly his exact words, and the Chancellor was finally swayed to calling the investigation."

"... I think if me and Master Marcus stayed together, and if I prevented from seperating we couldve had a chance with Balek, thought if we wouldve lost, then Balek wouldve finished us all, because then I wouldnt be able to scare Balek off a little, so he could activate the bomb, and not just kill Master Marcus"

Vilpa nods.

"And the mission, Master?"

-

"Balek is not a risk taker, young Vlad," says Windu. "He would not have fought you together. His entire strategy was to keep you apart, and with the staion under his control, I am hard pressed to see how that could have been avoided. Still- it is well to treat this as a learning experience; Balek knew you would be tempted to rush to the defence of your ship. Try and think about the mentality of your enemies in future, and not be taken in by their wiles.

"You are a talented Jedi, Vlad. But the end of your Padawanship is not the end of your learning. You are on a proper mission now. Keep your senses open, and learn from everything that transpires, and everything people do."

-

"Hmm," says Gralus. "I suppose it was too much to hope that you could turn the Uniuon upaide down. Ryamore won't crack, you know. A meeting like this will have to be arranged, and he'll have anything incriminating out of sight by the time you get there."

He finishes his drink, checking the bottom of his glass.

"I was reading the reports about the Viceroy... what do you make of this woman Clarion?"

"That will be to go and question Carlan. But first we must go and meet Master Mundi"

"Thus far, she's no Master Gundark," Xeth says. "But she got the job done, protecting the Viceroy and all. She is a Master. That is saying something in itself..."

"She too is a Renegade, like myself..."

~Ok, Confused, is he talking to Vilpa or VLad????~

(I think he meant Vlad. That's what happens when characters have similar names. Xeth hasn't been wronged once!)
