"Jelena!" says Besh. "I hear you have been up to all sorts... not quite your style, all this running around..."

Xeth, you find yourself in one of Coruscant's noisier bars, where a message ask you to come, containing a Taloranian keyword. Gralus is there waiting for you.

"I never like coming here," he says, "I keep thinking if they are going to kill me anywhere, it is Coruscant. What have you got for me, Xeth? What's the news?"

"One moment, Vlad," says Windu. He moves to one side and stares at Marcus for a while.

"You're not feeling happy, Marcus," he says. "It wasn't a fair fight. Balek never fights fair, it is his creed. We were all outplayed on this one; your investigation seemed to be a set-up, so it is more our fault than yours.

"Next time we meet Balek, I promise you, it will be on OUR terms- not his."

"I am indeed not satisfied with the way that battle went. It wasn't a good first experience with heavy combat for Vilpa. Neither did it help me to repay my debt to Master Gundark. I know we should be free of emotions so I am trying not to let it get to me. The course the battle went is in noway the councils fault Master. If I had made sure that Vlad and I weren't seperated then I am sure we would have been thriumpant over Balek. Now as to meeting Balek again, and Master you KNOW I do not question your wisdom, but are you sure we should let ourselves stray from our path to go and deal with Balek? *small pauze* However I will be ready when I meet Balek again and I WILL NOT fail a second time."

Vlad steps away to the corner of the room, and leans on it, while taking out his last apple and quickly eating it hoping he would finish it before Master Windu finishes speaking to Master Marcus so he wont get caught.

"Master Marcus," says Windu, "Balek has assaulted three Jedi in the inner worlds of the Republic. That is a serious crime that cannot be let unpunished.

And did it not occur to you... that your original mission still holds? Far more than any vague suspicions or hopes we have with your visit to the Union, Balek can directly tell us who was employing him, and why."

"I understand now master, It shall be done."

Vlad eats the last of the apple and waits for Marcus and Windu to finish their conversation.

'No-ones here' Lorn says to himself as he surveyed the expanse in fron of him. 'May as well go training.' Lorn activated his comlink, which was handily attached to his wrist, and uttered a few words. A few minutes later his old friend and ally, arrived in a fairly battle hardened YT. "Hop in!" The ace said as he landed, "I've found a moon in a nearby sector, which has plenty of rancors we can hunt. You know their teeth are making pretty good souvenirs for off-worlders with plenty of credits to spend."

"Ok, but we better make it quick. The council will soon reach a decision on what we should do with this whole Trade Union business."

Xeth sits down next to Gralus.

"Do not trouble yourself to come here, then, my friend," Xeth says to him. "I do not want you in trouble, if trouble should seek to find you here. However, you DO have friends in the Jedi Order..."

"To business." He pauses. "We've been given the go ahead by the Chancellor himself."

"No...it isn't..." Jelena says, sitting on the mat with her master in the meditation chambers.

"I am a bit uncertain if I should continue with the mission," Jelena says. "Some of our allies are...not exactly desirable. The kind of Jedi that take to heart their own laws and ways to deal justice. Great warriors. One was on the mission to Zeiton..."

(most of Us were on Zeton....)

(Actually, it was just Marcus, Xeth, and you. Besides, I was making light of Xeth being the only undesirable there, and Jelena thinks the whole thing was slightly disturbing and that it could have made you think things that Jedi should not... 😛 )

And Gundy...
