Ok, bombs bombs bombs...

Rianna, you reach forward and, eyes closed, grab tablet number 4...

...

...

No plasma stream.

And then the alarm goes off.

Well, I'm not dead....but alarms are bad....

(I'm halfway suspecting that you're just screwing with us about the alarms....)

Rianna wants to get the hell out of the vault, now, and back down the the hanger.....

No, the alarms have gone off. Loud, blaring alarms throughout the entire citadel. The passages are sealing now. The plasma trap has not gone off, but everything else in the vault is- the lights go out, it has sealed off, and the lasers and nerve gas are going off.

"Tanic," Galder says to his cohort who he is now admiring somewhat for his insanity, "come help me with the bombs when you're done."

(Ouch, Rianna...)

You are feeling a might more desperate than that, Galder, seeing as you are inches away from the bombs and the alarms have gone off.

Rand flings the dead man aside once the situation is handled, then hears the alarm go off.

"Rianna..." Rand says, then blinks. "Galder!"

Galder hears the alarm and instinctually leaps backwards.

"Oh, not again..."

Which leaves you in a VERY bad situation. Rianna is upstairs in the vault with the alarms off- and you have absolutely no contingency, no back up and no support for her. The entire of the rest of your team is down here, and it must be said, you were directly advised to put in such a contingency.

Ok, well, now Galder has stopped working on the bombs!

That's because he does not want to die. They are going to explode, right?

If they explode you are ALL dead, remember?

Wait...brain not working.

I thought they were going to explode as soon as the alarm sounded? 😕

Well, obviously they are not linked to the vault, are they?

But as soon as Jena's crew work out why they have gone off, they will blow them, which cannot be much more than seconds.

Anyway I can use the Force to smash the traps? And use the blacklight to see?

Or maybe saber the traps so they're broken or something?

Then cancel Galder's leap away! He shall continue tinkering as fast as he can and hope they don't go off!

By the time you sabre the traps you'll have been gassed to death. The light, frankly, shows bugger all!

It's not cancellable. In these pressure situations, I take your first response (or you do nothing, if there is no response after a reasonable time)

Ok, Galder is heading BACK to the bombs...

Now Galder is feeling the pressure.

.....and since I can't see anything I doubt I'd be able to get Tanic to tell me how to disable the traps......

Could I simply cut my way through the wall? Drastic and a dead giveaway, but, better than nothing.....

Err, you are in the middle of the vault, the walls are some ten feet thick, they would take forever to cut through.
