USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE II (DARK SIDE)- In the Coils of the Serpent

"Thank you," Rand says in return, then enters the door, keeping his senses open to trouble.

After reeling from the auditory assault Rah spreads his senses out to get a feel for the area...

Galder casts a glance around at the guards, then follows Rand in.

Rianna follows, not even looking at the guards.

Galder whispers to Rianna.

"Well, this should be interesting..."

"Interesting could be one way of putting it..." Rianna whispers back.

"What are the other ways?"

"Idiotic? Suicidal? Take your pick."

"How about exciting?"

"...that too, I guess..."

"Glad you agree!"

(well...if i may say..that was a looong term mind trick..he's so cooperant 🙂 )

use sense in the room

Not if you think logically, Dexx. The mind trick was just to stop him hassling you for the gift, which is now done. He's taking you to Jena because he's been ordered to take you to her- you did radio ahead and say, after all. He didn't just wander by when you landed.

Senses- large room, many objects, several life forms, no immediate danger.

This room is veyr large- the size of an average house. Some people are working quietly in the backgriund, poring over computer screens, whilst gentle tinkly music plays all around. Various objets d'art line the walls and hang form the ceiling, and a large window gives a breathtaking- if green-tinged- view from outside, overlooking the plains below the citadel.

Sitting behind a desk in the middle of it all, looking at various papers and print-outs, is a woman who, in the tradition of this game hiring from the same sources, looks exactly like Monica Belucci, and in Star Wars style, she is dressed on the very suggestive side of a PG. Standing behind her are two large and very muscley men, who are wearing nothing but thongs, and stand rigidly to attention.

Presently, she looks up at you, raising an eyebrow.

"I expected Jonas to come to me first with a trinket of yours," she says. "Why has this not happened?"

Galder, keeping his mind focused on saying nothing, merely raises an eyebrow and smiles in Jena's direction, completely ignoring everything else.

"Greetings, Madame," Rand says, bowing low and flashing his sharp smile. "That would be my Master's doing."

"Oh, excuse me, I have not introduced our group! We are from the Empire of Pity..." He bowed again, and motioned for all the others to bow with him.

"Our Master from the Empire of Pity requested that it specifically be handed to you. He thought that you would like it, and I know that your father will like it as well."

"It will bring glory and honor back to the Serpent name, or at least make it more glorious and more honorable."

"Would you like to see the gift now, Mistress?"

Takuan also leaves the talking to the others for now

Galder bows also, though he rolls his eyes at the gesture.

Tanic looks to Rand for instruction, and half listens to the conversation while checking to make sure there is no increase in the level of alert among the workers.

"First," she says, meeting your stare, "I want to know who your Master is, why you have chosen to present this 'gift' to me in particular, and why you presume to be able to make statement on what will or will not bring glory to the Serpent and my father's name..."

(Can I just point out that the ruler of the empire of Pity is 'Lord Geful'. I think, unless it's really nesscessary, we only have one speaker.
If you mess up Zink, I'll take over in a Queen Amidala kind of way... "No, I'm actually the leader - we were just testing ya!"😉
