USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE II (DARK SIDE)- In the Coils of the Serpent

"And the consequences of failure?"

"You have always known the price of failure, Galder."

Tanic brings the ship into land, a grin on his face, relaxing for the first time in days,
"So we did it! No pursuit, no ships waiting for us!"

"I have," Galder states, agreeing. "And yet I evade."

He turns to Tanic. "Yes, but it'll be bittersweet. Unless Doon was pulling our legs to get us to get a move on, Kuylen is fading fast."

Tanic shrugs,
"He may have been a great man. Unfortunately, I didn't know him."

"You might have, Tanic," Galder says. "He was a great Jedi, once."

"He was! But now he is dying, defeated, why such respect for the leader that failed you!?"- Gallador sneers.

"And you know nothing about Jedi Order Galder, or am I wrong? You may be a good killer, but will your understanding of Force ever be complete?"

"No," Galder replies. "And neither will your's."

"I was never a Jedi. I had no need for their petty training..."

"By the way, Gallador, what were you rambling about Scovione, earlier?"

Rand attempts to begin reading the tablet, at least to find out a little about it.

"Jedi training.....hah.....what a joke...." Rianna comments, in response to Gallador. "I trained as a Jedi and my knowledge of the Force is FAR from complete."

Like I say, very intricate, very broad. It doesn't talk of one specific thing. But the dialect is obscure, like it is in some form of shorthand.

What is included in the broad and intricate readings? 😕

Well, you can't read it properly, that's the problem- you need time.

But you recognise the term 'Darth', and used in plural, so this part refers to the time before the Rule of Two.

"Well, this will require some time..."

"Yes, Rianna, but you never cared about much more than swordfighting, didn`t you?

I saw through the limitations of the Jedi Order, foolish adherence to ancient code, fear of the Darkside, unability to do what is right for the Republic, wouldn`t it be the best for the good of all if force users ruled the galaxy with power and wisdom? Couldn`t they see that their hypocrytical morality is an excuse for being inept, fearful, stagnant and weak?

Scavione was one of the few Masters that agreed to discuss matters with me, but he too proved himself too inflexible at the end. He hunted me down after I left the Order and tried to establish a Cult devoted to exploring the Force at a whole, including the Darkside, and the power of emotions.

But I escaped, and killed his apprentice, a young girl who was still not much more than a child! I could sense his pain, old fool got what he deserved"!

(And yes, Gallador is the very arrogant intelectualist type, he might be a bit annoying).

Which is probably why Scovione annoyed you so- his calm rationality contrasted with your impassioned approach.

Rand sets aside the tablet.

"I knew Scovione," Rand says. "Though I chose not to be a Jedi any longer- they should have ruled, not tried to preserve a dying peace- I still respect them. They are worthy opponents...both in combat, and intellectually."

"Scovione and Gundark...two old companions. And Marcus. All Masters you have seen, Galder. Tragic, Gundark's story. Lost her homeworld to an unseen super nova..."

"Scovione ruined our business on Malastare," Galder snarls.

(hah, I think I've noticed....I hope you realize that that attitude will be very good at royally irritating the hell out of Rianna 😛)

"No, I really didn't care for much else than practicing with my lightsaber. But I certainly am able to do just fine with what I know of the Force, as I'm sure I have proven." Rianna snapped back.

"I've never met any of them, but I knew who Gundark was, when I was still a Jedi."
