Are you using a chat, Lana?

Yeah, we're all on MSN right now.

"Master, I believe we must gain initiative quickly, too long were we puppets in somebody`s else game!

How do I use MSN?

In other words, Ush wants us to commit suicide. 😛

"Tanic, let me ask..." he says, pushing Tanic aside.

"What do you know about the Jedi vessel? Who did it belong to? And I don't want technical stats!"

I'm just amazed at you moaning for ages about wanting to kill Helkin and then wimping out when the story gives the option to try!

"Well, I don't see how who it belonged to affects its technical value!"

(You have to download it - do you have any chat programs, Melkor?)

Tanic ignores Rand, concentraitng on the discussion with AK.
"Do you take credit?" 😛

"It so happens that I do," says AK. "To a certain extent!"

"Well, I don't see how who it belonged to affects its technical value!"

"We're wondering if the owner of the ship is someone that we know."

Tanic's hand twitches, as he controls an involuntary move toward his pistol. He waits patiently for Galder to finish, a look of disdain on his face.

(Galder is over Helkin...he wants Doon...NOW...)

"I don't want its damned technical value, AK," Galder snarls. "I just want to know who owned it."

"I very much doubt it!"

"Oh very well," says AK. "Not that I took a great interest in it, but Mr. Doon informed me of the identity of the unfortunate pilot. The vessel belonged to some renegade Jedi named Larios Kuylen."

Galder goes pale and stiff.

"How...how did the ship...go down?"

"Oh, hard to tell... it happened long before I found it. But it cannot have been too high when it got into trouble or there would have been very little left to salavge!

Do you wish to buy any of my acquisitions from it? I am afraid Mr. Doon already bought much of the list, but there is some left..."

Galder wants to see the ship, and the list of acquisitions.

"I was a close friend of Kuylen," Galder says. "I should like to see these things, possibly get some without paying, if possible."

"Well, many of the more useful recoverable parts are beyond the credit I can allow... though I was thinking on doing you a deal on repairing your ship there... I am afraid Mr. Doon purchased the superstructure of the ship almost immediately, so there are only parts left."

He hands you the inventory list. You feel very sick when you read it.

Galder reads down the list.

(I have a feeling that Kuylen's recall device is on this list, and purchased by Doon...)

Is it missing the signal transmitter?

Yup. Along with a rifle of unknown alien design, some old ballistic weaponry, and an odd stone tablet.

The signal could not be faked. It simply didn't occur to you that Kuylen wasn't around to send the signal any more.

"Tough Galaxy, isn't it?" says Kuylen, just behind you, Galder. "You're a little late off the mark there."
