I am afraid you have exhausted all there was of immediate interest for you now. Much will have to remain a mystery.
The situation is as it is. Perhaps the only remaining question is the ridiculous amount of luck you have just had- mind you, in your experience, there is no such thing as luck.
And so... now it is time to move on.
I still think we should take the communications room of the starport or head to the Bureau's office and take theirs.
Then, tell Helkin there is an urgent message from (somebody he'll need to return to talk to) and sa that they are refusising to have it routed through - it's incredibly confidential. Then, when he comes - leaving his army behind - we kill him.
Tanic is right- no time to call for help.
There isn't a bureau office here, though maybe Tanic's been dreaming of the future again, because they are going to spread over the following years! But right now actual Bureau offices are only on major worls. Just like on Demarus and Cynelline, they will have a temporary command post with the transmitter near one of their ships.
However, as I advised Lana last night, the chances of Helkin leaving his troops whilst on an active operation are zero. You HAVE to do this the hard way- but because you are on the offensive, and you don't actually have to win the fight, you can stack things in your favour.
No, I really don't think we have the time for an active recon.
Could we possibly disguise ourselves as the security forces of the planet and get to Helkin himself? Presumably he'll be at the temporary command post, so he'll also be near the ships. If we kill him then get into their ship, we can successfully escape.
Mostly I'd like to know how easy it would be to disguise ourselves as the security of the planet itself. If we go as riot police, or normal officers (if the uniform is correct) we can disguise the non-human elements of the group.
