USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE II (DARK SIDE)- In the Coils of the Serpent

Glares at the hallucination.

"Anything else that Doon had high interest in?"

I am afraid you have exhausted all there was of immediate interest for you now. Much will have to remain a mystery.

The situation is as it is. Perhaps the only remaining question is the ridiculous amount of luck you have just had- mind you, in your experience, there is no such thing as luck.

And so... now it is time to move on.

Our objective now is revenge on Helkin, mainly due to Rianna and Galder wanting to kill something right now.

But how is a question...

Would AK let us work on that credit system to buy a speeder? Like a landspeeder?

I was about to yell but then I remembered you ducked out of the planning session 😛

😬...i'm really having trouble keeping up here chaps....and now i'm gonna be away for the weekend again....guess that's that.

Ahh, AK is sorry, but he is on a parts flogging drive right now. To buy vehicles from him you need to arrange stuff in advance; his ship is big but not miles and miles big (he has to be able to land it, after all).

He thinks he can get you enough credit to fix up your ship as well.

"AK, do you have anything that would stop security cameras functioning?"

"That'll do nicely," Galder says, regarding the repairing of the ship.

Would calling on our Merits help much for this one? Would be nice to have a Kaminoan gunner, a bounty hunter, and an army of Mecrossans behind us... 😛

Not on this Helkin attack, methinks... We have to do it quickly.

For Doon... I hope so 😈

Very much the same.

Galder is unsure how to approach this. Rianna and Stefan were coming up with something, but then they decided to play Ragnarok... 🙄

I still think we should take the communications room of the starport or head to the Bureau's office and take theirs.

Then, tell Helkin there is an urgent message from (somebody he'll need to return to talk to) and sa that they are refusising to have it routed through - it's incredibly confidential. Then, when he comes - leaving his army behind - we kill him.

I like that idea...

What does Ush think of that working?

Tanic is right- no time to call for help.

There isn't a bureau office here, though maybe Tanic's been dreaming of the future again, because they are going to spread over the following years! But right now actual Bureau offices are only on major worls. Just like on Demarus and Cynelline, they will have a temporary command post with the transmitter near one of their ships.

However, as I advised Lana last night, the chances of Helkin leaving his troops whilst on an active operation are zero. You HAVE to do this the hard way- but because you are on the offensive, and you don't actually have to win the fight, you can stack things in your favour.

We need information then, the number of troops Helkin has, their position, the terrain.....

Maybe we could use one of the locals to spy for us?

No, I really don't think we have the time for an active recon.

Could we possibly disguise ourselves as the security forces of the planet and get to Helkin himself? Presumably he'll be at the temporary command post, so he'll also be near the ships. If we kill him then get into their ship, we can successfully escape.

Mostly I'd like to know how easy it would be to disguise ourselves as the security of the planet itself. If we go as riot police, or normal officers (if the uniform is correct) we can disguise the non-human elements of the group.

Those Bureau ships are large troop transports- you need a full ship crew to fly them. No good.

Local security is likely not much good... but then neither are you guys! Subtlety is not really your forte.

Also those bastards have your scent.

Our scent?

As in, if we stand upwind of them they'll know we're there?

Damn. So we can't sneak close either?

Could Takuan and Gallador use Illusion to throw off the scent?

As for sneaking- scent is like sight, it's not infallible; plan it right and you can get in fine. I just wouldn't piss around putting on uniforms and the like. Keep it simple.

As for Illusion- to a few, perhaps, but not to anywhere near enough.

Hmmm...

Sounds like we need a plan of the area Helkin is in! Also, we need to figure out if we want anything else from AK. Anywhere a plan would be available springing to Tanic's mind, Ush?
