USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE II (DARK SIDE)- In the Coils of the Serpent

Started by Ushgarak215 pages

Yes, they are blocking you, Galder, and Tanic, they will try and move to block you. Blur cannot be used with any form of difficulty; it will not work here.

Ah yes, Gallador lacks Defend. You don't want to hang in this fight too long, Gallador- these guys are hideously dangerous!

Galder, you snap an attack. Evens... ooh, JUST a hit!

Tanic rolls a +1 and gets a hit in.

The Osokans strike. The Captains will take on Rianna and Galder. They also get two Osokans each. Then three Osokans each attacks everyone else.

Rianna ripostes another...

+5 is a hit on Tanic, for 7 neurodamage.

+2 is actually a hit on Gallador, for six points.

+2 from a Captain only just misses Galder!

Helkin's next shot misses.

Bit late in the sequence for Awe now, Gallador... but I'll put it in anyway because I am afraid you are not scary enough to Staredown an Osokan! They have a Neurowhip rating of 11, and you need to be 3 points clear.

heck...master throw on the nearest osokan captain. then defend

If I HAD Guard.....I would certainly use it. But I don't.

Attack on the Hunter that's at 19 damage, Defend and 1 Riposte for defense.

And so battle is joined! The snarling Osokans give out loud grunts as they twirl their whips around in vicious lashes at you, matched as you spin around the combat, picking out foes.

With a +1, Rianna, swings over and drops another foe.

Takuan goes Force on that guy, hurling a rock. The Captain can't parry that but he'll take a dodge. -3 not good enough from Takuan; the Captain dives out the way.

I shall assume Galder hacks at another, and his -2 is a 'kill' on another wounded one.

Then, assuming same defences as before, minus Ranna's Riposte which se can't afford.

We'll spare Gallador and Takuan the extra attackers. A random roll has also shown that Takuan's force attack made Galder's opposing Captain lose his attack by framing out.

+5 is another hit on Rianna! Eight damage again, and that is a point of impairment.

And likewise another hit on Galder, for seven, and the biorhythm disruption is impairing him now as well!

Attacks on the other three are... rubbish.

New sequence! And a new team coming into sight. Some way off though.

can in master jump over a row of assailants and resume my charge towards the command post? (and yes, i DO know that's dumb)

Now you are engaged in combat Master Jump is dangerous. Do you have Flying Charge or Defensive Leap?

Gallador will use Bewilder on one of Captains.

Oh, did you want to active Awe for this sequence as well, Gallador?

Yes!

Righto. We'll put that in first, and I'll make that work automaticlaly on the Hunters rather than bugger around rolling.

Which means your Bewilder will come after their first attack.

Remember that I was trying to take position behind those C types.

takuan will have a slash at the osokan with 18 damage

And what/who is Vargas?!

The lead Osokan.

I'll attack on the other damaged Hunter, standard Defend and Riposte for defense.

A poor start for Rianna again- again having to blow two re-rolls to kill her target!

Whoa! Terrible Osokan rolling brings no hits!

But Helkin hits Galder this time, for seven damage. An Rianna blows her last re-roll on getting that Riposte in.

Then, a +3 from Takuan is a good blow, downing his foe!

And +1 is a successful Bewilder from Gallador! Navigating around is not at all easy though.

Gallador motions towards the Captain being Bewildered, urging his comrades to kill him

Stupid crappy luck.

Attack at the one for 18, Defend for defense.

How many Hunters do we need to cut down before we have a path to move through?

As long as one is engaging you, it is awkward to move past. However, the less there are, the less free attacks they would get on you as you try to break through.

Okie. Just wondering so we can try to get to the command post before that other team catches up with us.

Sheesh, wasn't even able to defend myself... 🙄 😛

Galder will snap two attacks on the undamaged Osokan on frame 7, then attempt to use Combination on the Osokan Captain that is attacking him.

How many attackers does Galder have currently? I know the Captain is, and Helkin, but I don't want to declare a defense that would be a waste...
