Okay, I am back, I had some issues to deal with in real life, but it seems the game is moving pretty slowly anyway, good for me.

Dex, it seems like Gallador is stuck with you on lower level, right?
He insists that we should try to get some things done with Yago, he is too much of a fool for his own good. Why not to tell him that one of his siblings wants to use us against him, but we consider him to be more capable leader and are willing to doublecross one we work for( maybe Bora?)- This way we can create more chaos in order to steal the tablets.

(does Tanic have what it takes to 'persuade' one of them to get us up there?)

*sigh*...well..seeing as i am totally out of ideas. or time to develop them anyway.. your idea isn't totally appliable, though

That would require extended work- a Mind Trick wouldn't cover it, that's just for immediate bypasses.

If you want to put together something a little more substantial and clever to get one of these guys to get you up, then I am open to ideas!

Hmm, what about the following:

We tell Yago that either Mika or Jena wants us to try to steal the tablets, in order for him/her to stop the theft and gain points from father? And we are supposed to do it in a way that Yago will look like the one responsible?

mika and jena wouldn't NEED to make yago look worse than he is. besides....why would a latarnan steal his own property 😉

You might have trouble convincing anyone you are his men! You are all too smart to be inconspicuous as such. Even Yago would have difficulty believing you, and you intend for him to hire you!

Gallador is thinking with the kind of simplicity that muight work, but as Takuan says, that's just not plausible enough. Still, think about it!

(Plus, it would not bode well for us if Jena is watching us while we try to become bodyguards! She wouldn't allow it...)

(k, to get anything from Yago, try thinking simple....he is an idiot, but a stubborn idiot, and if you try something that goes over his head it simply wouldn't work, as I'm sure you've noticed....)

(I'm trying to work on something, not sure if it'll work, but I at least have an idea. However, I think I should stress that it is absolutely imperative that we learn what the security systems surrounding the tablet are...especially since I will be the one who gets killed if we don't figure it out and the swipe gets botched....)

Almost got my idea worked out for what I'm going to do....heh.....might surprise the rest of you but it shall certainly be interesting and may even work....I'm sure that at the least it will be VERY amusing and quite different from anything else that I would try. Hehe.

I dont know about Tanic but I know Rah doesn't have the finesse to work the librarians so I'm kind of getting stuck for ideas 😬

Hey, you are getting solid info already. But aside from the security, these guys can tell you a lot about the Serpent, the Lantarnans, or even Siva, to give you some context.
