"Incidentally," says Doon, "it won't be a problem, but I cannot help thinking you will be annoyed if I don't mention it...

"... but Fernau is in the Republic. Not too far from Demarus, unsurprisingly."

(Dammit, I'm not even 16! You guys are warping my fragile innocent mind!)

So we could grab the stupid one, and somehow convince him showing us the tablet would get him our alliance, then slaughter the silly bugger and **** off in our borrowed ship?

"Not far from Demarus? That's great. I was hoping to never have to go back near there ever again..."

"Well, that's great news!" Galder says in disgust.

Rand chuckles at Takuan's wandering mind.

"I would not worry about it," Rand tells the others. "While it is close to Demarus, the Bureau thinks that we are dead. And unless they just happened to have stocked up on that particular plant we will use, the Osokans will die if they come to Fernau."

Galder nods.

"Takuan, you know we are going to have to deal with the Lantarnans! They will undoubtedly come to defend their treasure."

"But you do have a smashing idea there, comrade...taking Jena hostage..."

(At which point, Alana should say something about Dr. Strangelove...and if she doesn't, she's not as obsessed as I am...)

"yes...we will definitely have to fight our way at one point or another.
though the planet being in the republic is serious bad news." says Takuan worrily.

"What makes you think the Republic will rush to the aid of a criminal organization?"

"Well, really, even if the Republic were to come, they couldn't actually go down to the Citadel...unless they have a stock of the plants or were willing to clomp around in suits."

"Nope! They're too stupid."

"But no, I don't think the Republic will bring aid. The Serpent won't want to give away the position of their prized fortress."

"yeah..the bureu doesn't know where it is. And ..for now...it's possible they think we're dead....though it's safe to assume that they will look into it closer. So..it's highly unlikely that they will find us there..."

A strange person enters the room, looking around with curiosity and slightly nervously. He is a human-like albino, though unnaturally thin and tall for a human, with extremally disturbing eyes, glowing with red light. He has a lightsaber on his side, and bows before Nume Rand:

"Greetings Master, I apologize for coming late, but I had to run from my former Master. He seems to have a grudge that I killed this chick, his Padawan, I suspect they had a relationship prohibited by Jedi laws"- Stranger smiles mischievously:

"I am Gallador Enkidu, of Elessar race, a Dark Side Adept and former proud member of the glorious Jedi Order, and you are those associates of Kuylen I heard of, yes? Where is the man himself?"

It is almost certain the Bureau won't find you; they don't have magic powers.

But if any of you start sending out interstellar transmissions from your ship on the way there or back that go "Oi, Doon, we got the goods, now where is Kuylen? You know, the Dark Jedi that the Bureau is looking for, not that they have any clue that we are still here, hah hah..."

... then don't say that I didn't remind you that you are inside the Republic for this one!

And ah! Melkor is here, here is the new guy, one of Rand's posse, and hence also known to Tanic and Rianna.

Technically speaking, he landed here with you on Scorpio... he just hasn't said much yet. Alternatively, Doon went to pick him up in the few days between you arriving, and you departing to Fernau.

One way or another, here he is, so do whatever disturbing newbie welcoming plans you have...

Are there any other preparations people want to make, btw? Else you shall be leaving soon.

"Melkor... Welcome back. Unfortunately, Kuylen couldn't be here. So we are running errands for him. Care to join us?" Tanic asks, a slight smile on his face.

Please introduce your characters to Gallador alias Melkor, and I would also like to know how they look like.

"Hmm, so Kuylen still has troubles? Maybe he isn`t as great as Master Rand thinks? What is our current plan? Doon mentioned something about infiltrating the Golden Serpent, those guys are almost as bad as Hutts!"

Ushgarak, I prefere the second option, Gallador has just arrived.

This brings up the Dark Side to what I consider to be full strength; any more than this becomes too hard to manage (for both myself and you guys!)

"We're infiltrating the Golden Serpent in order to steal back a Sith tablet they stole a looong time ago...and had you fought any of the Osokans, you would see that they are indeed trouble and are incredibly hard to actually kill."
