USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE II (DARK SIDE)- In the Coils of the Serpent

yeah..assume away.
i'm ready.

Why not 😉

Sure.

Rah's ready to go!

Galder is a bit downcast that Gallador is not intimidated, but agrees that his name can be a source of terror for the weak.

(Well, Ush said I had a knife in my arm, and Galder is just being creative with it...think Krueger style rather than crazy Asian mutant style...)

I take we it we are all set.

Rand pats Melkor on the shoulder. "Welcome, my pupil," he says to him. "I trust your journey was safe and that you defeated your old mentor promptly, as you were instructed to do if you ever met him again?"

Gallador is ready to gp.

Ok... though seriously, you guys don't seem to have put much thought into what attitude you will be taking, a reason you are visiting the citadel, what criminal area you work in and any past exploits you can make up as a group so you don't all seem to have different ideas about what you do if people talk to you... we don't have a group plan cohesion!

Fernau

This shuttle is somewhat uncomfortable- it allows four people to travel in relative comfort; seven is a bit much.

This is a dedicated smuggling craft- it has a legit cargo bay, and several hidden ones, well shielded against scans, and it is pretty quick. Obviously it is only armed to take on light enemy vessels (i.e. fighters); it tries to outrun anything else.

Most importantly, it is recognised by the Serpent as one of their own. How this is done you are not sure- maybe they have transponder records, or maybe they have just a huge ship directory record, or maybe something more specific, but Doon is very sure that it will not be questioned. In short, the weakest link in this deception won't be the ship, it will be the occupants, i.e. you.

The bitter taste of the Yaran root still with you, you leap into the Fernau system. The vast mass of the gas giant is before you, obscuring all else; you skirt around it quite closely, keeping out of sight until necessary, pretty much by instinct. Soon the moons come into view, in their various orbits. And then, there is the first moon, a slight greenish tinge to it, and with the co-ordinates you have, you are on a bearing direct to the Ghost Citadel.

Traffic control will contact you any moment. Who is doing the talking and what is being said?

Either Tanic or Rand.
We're pretending to be a cell Tanic knows about, yeah? And he can act it well enough to decieve them?

Even if it's not Tanic talking, he'll tell Rand of the exploits of the group they are being. If that's okay, Ush?

Fine by me!

-

Ok, time for some Predictive rolls!

Takuan- receives Manifest Destiny by PM. He has already received it.

Rah- has scored a Major Revelation, which he will get by PM.

Rand- receives Manifest Destiny, which he could hardly fail with the amount he put inti it, and will receive it by PM.

Rianna- receives a Dream, by PM

Galder- no result

Tanic- no result

Gallador- no result

bwah..hey fellas! why not share your visions with ...with the group..yeah.
no need for PMs for the non manifest destiny ones 😛

Huzzah!

Galder, Tanic, and Gallador will sit in the dark...

Rand pats Tanic on the shoulder, his way of letting people know he wants their attention.

"Tanic, I will trust you with deceiving the traffic control," Rand says to him. "We are counting on you..."

(Tanic, you have a Lying skill 1 point better than Rand's, go to work!)

Okay then... They'll get in touch first. Don't forget, we can still talk, if we're not transmitting, and decide things.

Ush, can you give me some clues on what the cell that we 'are' does?

Tanic mutters back,
"Ask Rianna what happened last time she counted on me..."

"Just don't screw this up." Rianna says quietly, having caught Tanic's comment.

Rand merely raises an eyebrow at both his pupil's before seating himself in the cockpit behind Tanic and Galder (assuming they are piloting the shuttle).

No, Tanic, I can't, it's a generic cell, what you did was your job to discuss in advance.

"This is Fernau base to unidentified contact. Identify yourself and your purpose."

"Oh, this will be fun," Galder mutters sarcastically before Tanic opens the line to reply.

(Do Mind Tricks work over the transmission?)

No.

C'mon guys, man, you can't fail on the first hurdle!
